How do you create a Scratch "Banner" on the Disscussion Page?
➳ Hey guys, it's MM here! (@MM11018) I do not usually use the Discussion page to advertise for projects, but I was thinking about doing so or for advertising my profile. And, well, I always see those cool colored and designed banners on discussion pages. So I was wondering if someone could help me out here. :3 It would sure mean a whole lot to me if you could tell me how to make one! ;3 Tysm!
➳ P.S. to all my followers, I would love to thank you for 165+, it means a lot to me!

If you mean like a banner a comment or signature, you need to make a banner, then download it (in a banner form). Use the picture button (near the link button) and insert the link.

I myself don't know how to make a banner. But there is a “Banner Academy”. You can learn how to make banners there.

You can learn how to make banners there. Here are some facts: Banners can be any size you want, but if you want them in your signature, they can't be any bigger then 900x200. If you have a google account, you can use Google Drawings It's what I use. I hope I was helpful

And nobody's yet mentioned what a signature is, and how to use it..
A signature is a block of space that appears below every post you make on the forums. You can put text into it, or images, or emoticons, or whatever else you'd like, as long as it's something you could put in a normal forum post.
Signatures have a limited height. That's so that people who make really long signatures won't make the page too hard to read. (Imagine if there was twenty dancing-banana gifs below every post a user made..! – But the height limit is there so that only one of those images would fit.)
I believe the banners you're talking about are signatures that contain images that perfectly fit the signature's box size. So, if you want to make a banner, you'll need to make an image that fits perfectly (so that the image doesn't get squished).
I think the maximum height is 168 pixels and the max width is 690 pixels. Don't quote me on that, though!
Once you've got an image set up, you can put it into your signature by going to the Discussion Forums index, scrolling down to the very bottom of the page, and selecting “change your signature”.
You'll need to upload your image somewhere. Tinypic (here's an ad-free page.. the homepage for Tinypic bombards you with advertisements
) and cubeupload work well. (Those are both image hosts in the hidden allowed-image-hosts list Scratch has. If you try to embed an image from anywhere out of that list it won't work!)
Then you can embed the image by clicking on the “Picture” button. It looks like a boxed photo of a tree; it's right beside the “Link” button and the formatting buttons (bold, italicize, underline, strikethrough). Paste in the link you got from whatever image site you used, and it'll embed the image.
Then just fill in the form and click submit.
Now all of your posts will have that banner image at the bottom! That should expand the audience that'll get to see your projects, of course. Good luck!

I'm super sorry for any misunderstanding I may have to your comments, because it was very helpful, but what can you use to create a banner? Is there any special program you use? Like the one you have about introducing you at the bottom of your quote. :3 I'm sorry again. X3
