Tomorrow may work. Over here in England we have 2 weeks off of school for Easter (yay ) but I don't know what I'm doing yet. I know I have to go on a walk with my mother early in the morning, but I think the rest of that day I'm free (bc I have no social life :b).

Welcome to today's newsletter! We'll be discussing about grammar for writing and Art styles for animating!


WRITING

Here are the things we'll talk about:

1. What do you think grammar is?
2. Why do we need grammar?
3. Do you think we should use grammar? If yes, why? If no, why?

My answers:

1. W H A T G R A M M A R I S:

I think grammar is a collection of rules of a language which are used to make writing understandable.


2. W H Y D O W E N E E D G R A M M A R?

We need grammar to make our writing understandable. Plus, when people read our stories, they'll know the rules of grammar!

3. G R A M M AR – YES OR NO?

Yes. We need grammar to live.

Additional Tips:

There are many grammar checker to help you if you think your grammar is messed up. For offline, I recommend: MS Word. For online: I recommend Grammarly.

ANIMATION

1. What is animation?
2. What is connection between art and animation?
3. What are art styles and how do they affect animations?

My answers:

1. W H A T I S A N I M A T I O N:

Animation means alive. (Google)

Animation is made when we make a series of images and then make them move using coding.

2. C O N N E C T I O N: ART AND ANIMATION:

Animation depends on art, as animation is a set of artworks, coded to be moving. An artwork is static – it doesn't move, but an animation does.

3. A R T S T Y L E S:

Art styles are the styles of your art! There are different kinds of art styles –
1. Realistic
2.Semi-Realistic
3.Outlined Non-Realistic
4. Not-Outlined Non-Realistic
5. Anime

In realistic, you make the artworks look like real images – with shades (realistic shades). They are usually colourful.
Semi realistic: This kind of art doesn't have to look like real images. These will include realistic shades and can be colourful or sketches.
In non-realistic arts, there are two kinds:
1.Outlined: With outline.
2. Non-outlined: Without outline.

Last but not the least: Anime.
Anime is a style of art usually used in Japanese animes.

Art styles affect animations a lot. If you wish to create a realistic animation, go with realistic or semi-realistic art. (I recommend semi-realistic as realistic arts will take forever to draw. ) If you want to create an anime styled animation, go with anime!

Outlined arts are usually used for cartoonish, hilarious animations. But it's up to if you're gonna use them or not!

Most of the animated series are made using non-outlined arts. The Wand, The Fourth Faction, The Restorers, Colour Divide etc wonderful series were made using this style. This is possibly the best style for animation.

3. Yes. We need grammar for every day life enjoyment.

1. Animation is a movement.
2. You need some sort of photo or piece of art to animate, maybe even just a piece of furniture, but for that you'd need a camera. And furniture can be art, in my opinion
3. Any art styles, and they affect them by how they look. (I animate sometimes, but I wanted to be a writer here instead because I don't know a lot about animation.)

(I can't draw… at all… so I'm just going to do Grammar. Can next weeks newsletter be SPaG?)

2) We need Grammar to make our writing understandable, and to make it flow easier. When writing, it is always best to proofread to make sure that writing makes sense.
3) Yes. Without Grammar, writing would be a mess, and would not be as high of a standard as it has been to this day.
