We built in this nice little feature that we can use to delete all posts and topics owned by a given Scratcher with one button click. We only use it for spammers - it is very handy when they get off a lot of posts.

Ok, thanks for letting me know. I will only report one spam topic per spam-bot in the future.

I just read the updates and something has been put in to stop the spammers. And I can officially declare that it works!
I just reported 4 spams and that was all, none after, and all the forums were clear. I think spam-bots are finally defeated!

(I would be interested in how the spam-bot thing works!)

There will be more coming, unfortunately.

It probably uses hidden JS and other techniques like that.

Thanks for your help reporting these spammers - we need your help to keep them off Scratch.

For now, you can save yourself (and me) some work by just reporting one post of each commercial spammer. I'm just going to click on the “delete all posts” button on them anyway and less reports makes the queue more manageable.

Its pretty sad, whoever got the idea shouldn't of done that. Now i cant go one day without spam. But ill try my best to find as many as possible to stop the spam bots, Taking a break from project making anyway.

I will look for spam topics and help for this!

I MIGHT have been in a spam topic before, it was originally my PokeFarm journal because I was muted on PokeFarm, and it was perfectly fine until somebody posted “Show all your Pokemon/Eggs on this topic!” and it got removed.

Really? I never see spam. Either that, or I don't pay attention.
(Then that means I really should.)

This is quite an old thread And we've since managed to reduce the spam on the Scratch forums so I'm going to close this thread
