REVERT not working as I expected.

I am working on a large project. I expected REVERT to go back to the last time I SAVED a project. Apparently it goes back to the last time you OPENED a project.

Steps

Open a project
Made lots of changes
Saved Multiple Times
Made 1 change I didn't like
REVERTED
Made 1 small change I did like
Saved

The result is I have the original project before I opened it, with just the 1 small change at the end.

Revert is supposed to be for if you make a huge mistake that's tough to undo, or lose your work…
But it does seem a bit un-intuitive.

Depends on the type of change, but if you deleted a script or costume you can select edit> undelete

Maybe that was intended for prevent irreversible project loss, due to the autosave feature in 2.0.

Then I would suggest the option of reverting to last manual save *which could be what it was when it was opened), or last auto save..

Autosave is messing with Revert. When you saved manually, apparently it didn't save nothing.

I can't understand why they put 2 so conflictual options. It's a bit a crazy idea for me.
Autosave OR Revert at the same time, but both???

I accidentally delete my main sprite which has all the script and it's my assignmet
I freak out so I just click refresh many times and when the revert is not working
is there a way to double revert or getting my sprite back?
