Chapter One
Running. Running was all Alice could think about. She didn't care how exhausting it was. Just run, get as far as she could. She couldn't look down, couldn't look back. Just run.
Don't let him in, the voices whispered. Those horrid voices. They sounded so tortured, so terrified. The very thought of it made Alice feel like dying.
Alice, they said. The fate of everything depends on you. You are the only one who can stop it. You know. Thousands of voices. Thousands of voices that defined pain. “What do you mean?” She asked. “Where are you?”
Everywhere, Alice. We are behind you. We are in front of you. Behind you, above you. Without you, we wouldn't exist. Without us, the worlds wouldn't exist. Worlds? Nothing would exist without us. We contain the sins. Without us, everything would break. It would self-destruct. We are you. Then, Alice made the mistake of looking down.
Nightmares shouldn't be this real. Was it even a nightmare? Was she going insane? Alice didn't know anymore. She tried to get a better handle on the platform supporting her. Alice lost her grip, and she fell into the void, the demons watching her.

“Alice! What happened?” James asked. Cold sweat trickled down her neck. “I'm fine.” Alice said.
“You sure?” He rest a hand on her shoulder. “You can always tell me if something's wrong.”
“You don't have a chance with me.” She said, rolling her eyes. “Now, go stare at trees or whatever boys do while I get dressed.” James left her tent, leaving Alice to take off her pajamas, pulling on some denim shorts and a white tank top. She put on some converse shoes and hurried out of her tent.
“Glad to see you're finally awake.” Alice jumped. Claudia was floating on her back above her tent. “You were screaming, something about falling.” She noticed. Alice sighed.
“I had that nightmare again.” She admitted. Claudia smiled, asking, “How do you now it's not a dream?”
“You're hopeless.” Alice scoffed. “Tell James I went out.” She waved and took her hunting rifle.
Alice trudged through the forest, enjoying the calm breeze just barely blowing. She watched the rabbits hop in joy. She could've caught them, but they were scrawny. And then, there it was.
That perfectly plump and well-fed deer, grazing on the grass innocently. Alice loaded her hunting rifle. A guy was approaching the deer. It turned toward him. Alice didn't have time to get him away, or she might shoot him, too. But she couldn't pass up an opportunity for such good meat. The deer spooked, turning towards the stranger. Perfect timing.

Click-boom.

The stranger fell back in surprise as the deer fell on him, dead. He moved it off, glancing at Alice uncertainly.
“Sorry about that.” She said nervously, slinging her rifle behind her back and picking up the deer. “You can have it. Stuff it, eat it, arrest me, you know. I'm Alice, by the way.” Alice held out a hand guiltily. Why couldn't she just take the deer and bring it back to Claudia and James?
“I'm Lorenzo. Lorenzo Reige, and I'm not taking that.” He said with a sigh. “You just gave this forest another curse. Trust me when I say this, if I could name every sin on this forest, we'd be here till the end of time.” Alice smiled at Lorenzo. He seemed pretty nice. He had short dark brown hair and sweet gentle eyes.
An acquaintance, or a possible friend? He looked good enough. Of course, James would probably inspect Lorenzo and name every possible threat he could be. Claudia would be creepy enough, floating with her silver cat ears rather human ones and an unnaturally wide grin. Alice wasn't sure if Lorenzo liked that stuff.
She didn't have any special powers that she knew of, but James could teleport -that sucked when a girl was doing her private business-, and Claudia was descended from the Cheshire Cat directly, making her pretty scary. She had silver cat ears- not normal, could float- not normal- had an unnaturally wide grin- not normal, and she was nonsense overall.
“That must suck,” Alice said at last, “'Cause we've been staying here for a week. You can come with if you like.” Lorenzo nodded, and together they carried the deer back through the ‘cursed’ forest. Along the way, Lorenzo named some sins on the forest. Some of them made Alice laugh, like smelliness and diarrhea for whoever enters the forest, but others made her shudder, like tales of monsters. When they finally arrived, Claudia and James were playing rock paper scissors.
“Good to see you're back.” James greeted, waving. Claudia just grinned her large smile and waved, rolling over lazily midair. James frowned. “With a newcomer and deer, apparently.” Alice quickly rubbed some sticks together to make a fire in their pit. She took out her small iron dagger and began to skin the deer.
“Lorenzo, mind telling the story while I make lunch?” She asked. Lorenzo nodded and Alice held the deer meat over the fire so it could cook. She started to chip off the rough parts of the fur, intending to make a rug while the meat was steaming. While he explained the story, Alice divided the meat with her dagger.
“Dinner.” She said, giving a portion to each of them. James ate it without question, while Claudia examined the best place to tear off a chunk first. “You can have some of mine.” Lorenzo suggested. She nodded hungrily and tore off a sliver of meat, stuffing her mouth.
You thought living in a cursed forest would be hard. Alice thought. Well, it is. So are the nightmares, but the nightmares are harder. I can do this. Well, hopefully.
Some of it is funny!! Love it
Thank you!

Someone enjoyed a cup of coffee. Then he went home. The end.

“Yipee, I did it!” the man said with glee,
“I've solved that darned riddle, I've solved it, you see!”
The sphinx simply smiled and shook her strange head,
“I'm afraid you're wrong, and therefore you're dead.”

So um, should this be Warriors?
Cuz if not…
Solax
We sent Uncle Sam a cardboard box filled with old, black cigarette butts and Beatles puzzles to his nursing home. We also included a movie we’d heard was interesting called “Solax.” Inside we left a note for Aunt Jessie that informed her that Uncle Sam was not to touch, eat, or try to smoke the cigarette butts, as he had a habit of doing. Instead, they were an attempt to break him of his habit.
The box spilled over on the bed, leaving the puzzles intact, but emptying most of the blackened cigarette butts onto the floor. The small dog that looked uncannily like my own dog Harry trotted over and began to eat them. We all started freaking out inside of our small hotel-room-like dwelling. The dog ended up in the closet, surrounded by cigarette butts.
Suddenly we were in my school. The dog had disappeared. I nervously stepped into a small doorway, which entered into a large room with our principal sitting, her back to me, in a yellow chair with oddly coloured spots on it. She turned, and I quickly exited.
I found myself in the nursing home, looking oddly like a part of my living room. In front of me was a large television on a cart. We did the Beatles puzzles, along with Uncle Sam. They all, however, looked off and slightly evil…and just wrong in some way. I couldn’t put my finger on what was up with the pictures of them, which bothered me.
A plump lady with frizzy grey hair started the movie. I later realized she had no ID card. I should have noticed that. On the lower half of the television was a screen that showed you what track you were on on a radio. As we watched, this number would, strangely, go down.
The movie opened on a large, grey screen with SOLAX in big letters on the side and a bunch of text going on about how time travel was possible with SOLAX, the world’s greatest invention, brought to you by Apple Corps and the Beatles. SOLAX was truly a wonder, so on and so on. For some reason the movie was interrupted, and when we got back, that’s when I noticed the numbers going down on the small screen. We shot forward to a cement room with a bear inside of it. A young boy in a tattered blue fleece shirt peered in, accompanied by someone who looked like the lady with no ID card. “This is one example of how SOLAX uses time travel. The SOLAX company is truly great,” intoned the voice-over.
“It looks comfy,” said the young boy. The woman smiled. Suddenly we were back at the main SOLAX screen, and then back at the same room from before. Now there were children in uniforms doing exercises. The woman and the boy stepped into the room, and the children disappeared.
“Do you want to go home, Tiam?” asked the woman.
“Yes,” whispered Tiam. “I want to go home.”
The woman injected Tiam with a shot that was blue and wooden. He slumped over in a scary looking black and gray chair. She wheeled him over to the other children, who shook him awake and touched him in odd places. “Hello, Tiam,” they said eerily. One child was taken away into a different room.
Later they turned Tiam into a bear. One day a little boy came to the door.
“It looks comfy,” said the little boy. Then he faded away, along with his companion, a big-boned woman.
“This shows how SOLAX is truly wonderful. This is the story of a young boy having truly great adventures while time-traveling. Thank you for joining us today for SOLAX: A Documentary,” came the voice-over.

I think the one you're referring to is the ‘Warrior’ one isit? (Is that its name?) UNFORTUNATELY, I never read ‘Warrior’…
That's reallysaddd…
I dunno. I don't really know what you mean by warrior and I kinda mean all of them because I don't know why but like no-one appreciates my writing…
Wait. Sorry, I'm terrible at navigating discussions, so would it be okay if you re-posted your story? I can't find it…
I'm sorry that you feel like no-one appreciates your stories… I'll love to read it!
Kk, I will repost

Caitlyn's feet pounded against the ground as she raced down to the store. She stopped outside the main doors to catch her breath, before going around the back and entering through the staff door. She had her turquoise and orange striped uniform on and her brown hair pulled back in a bun with a framing strand either side of her side. Her pink highlights stood out, but that's how she wanted it. Her brother (Jayden Smith) was already there. “I thought you worked night shifts?” she told him and he shook his head to indicate that only sometimes he did. His shaggy brown hair was hanging on his shoulders and shifted slightly whenever he moved. “Where's Em?” she asked him and he shrugged before replying,
“I dunno. I haven't seen her today. Or received any texts. Ask Ellie, she probably knows. If you want her she's at the front of the store helping customers.” She nodded and thanked him before pushing open the double doors that separated the staff area from the main store. Her trainers squeaked on the freshly polished floor as she looked for Ellie. She spotted her helping a girl with messy shoulder-length hair with pale-blue highlights and hazel-brown eyes.
“Hey, El!” Caitlyn called to her. Ellie shot her a glance which said: I'll be with you in a minute.
Caitlyn sighed and straightened the item's on the shelf near her. The girl walked off and Ellie went over to Caitlyn and asked in a whisper,
“What do you want?”
“Where's Em, Emma?”
“I dunno. I haven't heard from her since Friday. And today is Tuesday.” Caitlyn shuddered upon hearing that. Where could Emma be? Just then a crash came from the staff area and Caitlyn bolted towards it along with Ellie. Jay Clary was holding up a fallen shelf with two hands as Emma came in. She had a shocked look on her face as she helped Jay hold up the shelf and she asked,
“What happened?”
“I have no idea,” Ellie said, stating the obvious. She went over and held the shelf up with one hand as Jay and Emma moved to help Jayden up. He was on the floor, he must have been trapped under the shelf, was what Caitlyn thought. Caitlyn stood still in shock. She couldn't believe Ellie had just revealed her powers to the entire set of staff. None of them were shocked though. They must have not been paying proper attention because a 15 year-old girl can NOT lift an entire steel shelf by herself.
Well, unless she had powers. Caitlyn helped Ellie although it was clear she didn't need help, after a minute Caitlyn nearly collapsed with the weight. Ellie kicked her out the way and dropped the shelf as Jayden was moved. Caitlyn's phone pinged and she look at it. It read:
'Meet me tonight at town centre. U know who. ~ Livia'
Caitlyn rolled her eyes, it clearly wasn't anonymous. She turned to Ellie just as Ellie's phone pinged, it was the same message. Ellie made eye contact with Caitlyn, her ocean-blue eyes alight with curiosity. Caitlyn wondered how her hazel-brown eyes looked. She turned toward the door, Ellie following, they bolted down the street to Ellie's house. It was a big house seeing as she had a big family. Before they were killed. Ellie thunder up the stairs into her room and Caitlyn went into the guest room. They then each collapsed on their beds, shattered…..

Ellie awoke and her clock said midnight. She sat up and tore off her clothes so she was just in her tank top and shorts. She stripped them off so she was naked and pulled on a long, sleek black dress covered in stars, white tights and black slip-ons. She grabbed a pair of elbow-length white silk gloves and a black studded leather jacket as she left her room.

Caitlyn awoke to a thumping on her door and Ellie calling: “Hurry up!!! We needa go!!” She groaned as she sat up, and her phone fell out of her pocket and crashed onto the hard wooden floor. She stood up and stripped down to her underwear as well. She grabbed a long, flowing ivory dress covered in golden leaves. Two emerald-green clasps held the body up. It was a sleeveless dress so she grabbed a black fur coat and pulled on black tights with white knee-high boots- which had a knife concealed in the heels- and burst up the door. Her hair was braided with the emerald-green clasps holding that in place as well. Ellie had her long, silky pale-blonde hair plaited and the plait fell down to her waist. Ellie grabbed Caitlyn's hand and ran downstairs. She opened the door and hurtled down the street. Caitlyn lost sight of her, but still followed the way Ellie went. When she stopped, she was at the edge of the town centre. There was Olivia in midnight-purple, looking gorgeous. Her long black hair flowed down her back in glorious waves and a diamond clip was holding back her fringe. She was wearing her midnight-purple and black striped dress covered in bright, pale stars with diamond's encrusted in the middle. Her white tights and black boots set off the entire look. She looked like a heavenly figure sent from above.
To be fair, so did Ellie. The moonlight was shining directly on her, making her look like a silhouette. Caitlyn bent over panting and told Olivia in between pants,
“You- do- know- that- the point- of any- anonymous- is to- NOT sign your- name at- the end?” In reply, Olivia rolled her eyes.
“Come on,” she beckoned them down an alleyway and tapped sharply twice on the brick wall. The brick wall appeared to fall away and expose a wooden door decorated in ornate golden swirls. Ellie pushed it and gasped,
“The guild of the Shadow's! This is the meeting point for all invited Guild Online players!” She ran across the room to a handsome boy with aqua-blue hair and soft, brown eyes. They embraced and Olivia whispered under her breath,
“That's Thomas Blue. He's been a player for nearly as long as Ellie.” Thomas hugged Ellie back before waving to Olivia and coming over to her. He was wearing a pale-blue hoodie, white t-shirt, black trousers and white trainers. Around his neck was a small piece of Ruby which caught the light and shone with an unimaginable air of beauty. Ellie was acquainted to his siblings Matilda Blue, Isabel Blue and Millie Blue.

Chapter One

You thought living in a cursed forest would be hard. Alice thought. Well, it is. So are the nightmares, but the nightmares are harder. I can do this. Well, hopefully.
As night fell, nervousness returned. Alice was in her tent, while Lorenzo and James slept under the stars. Claudia..Well, Claudia didn't really sleep. She was like nocturnal, without the sleeping part. She was probably playing poker with drunkards or betting her soul on roulette. Claudia was strange that way.
Alice rocked back and forth on her sleeping bag, afraid to settle down as the nightmares would engulf her once more. She silently counted the reasons her life was a wreck. Camping in the woods with only one decent person. Creepy dreams that made no sense. Demons that like to make deep quotes. Cursed forest. Possible insomnia. The list could go on forever, but Alice was getting tired. She poked her head out of her tent, looking at the beautiful stars and crescent moon which James and Lorenzo snored under one last time. Suddenly, she jerked upright, remembering that she should stay awake.
Can't sleep now,Alice thought. Nobody'll appreciate you waking up and screaming. She lay down, her tank top scratching at her shoulders. Appreciate you waking up and screaming. Alice sat up. Appreciate it? It sounds so nice, though. She could hear the little voices tugging at her. Waking up and screaming. And screaming. Sleep sounded so nice at that time. She lazily yawned.
Screaming.
Screaming. Screaming, or dreaming? Screaming. Ing. Ing. Ing.
She was on a bridge. A scrawny little bridge. A wolf stalked. A rabbit leaped away. A deer, an eagle, a fish. Making circles around her.
“We've been waiting, Alice.” An unknown voice said deeply. “Your time is long overdue.” Alice shook her head in disbelief.
“Overdue for what?”
“Come, Alice.” She saw a blurry shape in the distance, and followed it. But the faintest voice cried, “Alice!” She continued running, ignoring the voice. She barely even noticed it. The deeper, gravelly voice drowned it out. “Alice.”
Eventually, she came to the edge of the circle of animals. Alice saw the blurry shape vanish. No, it didn't vanish. It went down. She realized it was going down into a fiery void. The hellish place Alice always had her nightmare in. She realized almost everything was that void. Then, there was the thin little bridge of happiness where the circle of animals was.
No, Alice! The animals cried. They stopped, seeming to form a wall. Alice turned around, to see another wall. You don't want that!
“What do you mean?” She asked. Suddenly, her head was in pain, like it was being torn apart. Sanity and insanity. Alice leaned to the insanity, against her will. The voices set her straight again, saying, Alice! Alice! Alice!
A strong push, and she was falling again.
Down to the ground.

Chapter 1
My feet pounded against the streets as I raced toward the station. I hurtled onto the platform just as the train was pulling out. I could see Ellie leaning out, with her hand outstretched. I jogged alongside it before throwing myself into the cart. Ellie grabbed my shoulder to stop me from falling out again. Her pale-blonde hair was ruffled and her cheeks were flushed. Her navy tank top- with white stripes on- was torn. You could see a deep gauge across her chest. “What the hell happened to you?” I asked.
“Two words. Possessed creature fight.”
“That's actually three.”
“I don't care Mel, okay? I do NOT care,” Ellie snapped back. I recoiled in shock before looking around the cart.
“Where are the others?” I asked Ellie. She turned toward the cart door and pushed it open revealing the others. They were all sitting on the floor talking to each other, but looked up when she entered.

Prologue

Russetkit was rolling around with his friends Thunderkit and Wrenkit. His dull green eyes sparkled in the dawn-sun. His mother was nearby with his sister Littlekit and she called him over to be washed. “Today is your apprentice ceremony, you have to be presentable. Or how will they think of me? Some poor queen who can’t control her kits?” Cherryfall told him sternly while she was washing him, “Keep still fidget! I can’t wash you. You didn’t see Littlekit complaining did you?” At that Littlekit smirked and said to her mother, “I wonder who my mentor will be? Oh! I really hope it’s Smokefoot! He’s the best!”
“No he’s not! I want one of the best like Hollowheart!”
“Why him? He’s evil,” Littlekit growled at Russetkit, “And anyway, I’m going to get the better mentor!”
“Stop arguing,” Cherryfall growled at them. “And stay still Russetkit!” Russetkit hissed, then stalked off to be with his friends. He found them outside the nursery with Riversong. Riversong had her tail curled around her daughter and Thunderkit was hovering nearby, waiting for his farther (Cinderdust) to come. A cinder-grey tom with dusty-brown flecks came over and picked Thunderkit up by the scruff of his neck.
“Hey!” Thunderkit yowled in surprise, “Where are we going?” His farther didn’t answer and kept on carrying him.

It was sunhigh by the time Mothstar got the ceremony started for Russetkit. His friends and sister had already had theirs, so he thought it wasn’t fair. Cherryfall pushed him out the nursery and he stood next to the leader. The ceremony began,…

Mothstar: “Ashfur, it is now your time for an apprentice. You will be mentor to Russetpaw.”
Russetpaw and Ashfur walked up to each other.
Mothstar: “Ashfur, the whole clan knows your loyalty and dedication. Do your best to pass on these qualities on to Russetpaw.”
They touched noses and the clan cheered, before they walked off the training glade. Russetpaw was bouncing up and down as they walked toward the glade.
“Keep still Russetpaw!” he hissed, clearly annoyed. “Right, now first move. The crouch. Copy me,” he crouched down and Russetpaw copied. “Good! Now, when in position most twitch their tails. Try it,” Ashfur stood normally and watched as Russetpaw’s tail twitched, and he grinned. “Now try to pounce on this piece of moss,” Ashfur picked some moss and lay it a tail-length away. Russetpaw pounced, but skimmed the ground too close and he skidded. “Try again,” Ashfur coaxed him. Russetpaw tried unsuccessfully ten times before he caught the moss. Ashfur put another piece of moss where the last bit was and demonstrated how you do it. He crouched down, hindquarters wiggling, and pounced. He grabbed the moss in his jaws after pouncing perfectly. “Now you try,” he said with a mouthful of moss. He dropped the moss and Russetpaw copied him as best as he could, but missed. “You’re doing it too close to the ground,” Ashfur scolded Russetpaw. Russetpaw tried again, doing it perfectly. Ashfur led him back out of the training glade and toward the stream. The soft grass swayed under their paws, every pawstep disturbing it again. Russetpaw saw his sister with Smokefoot and ran over to her, nearly slipping into the stream. She hissed at him and pounced on a mouse, catching it immediately. He saw a squirrel, so he chased it. It stopped at the roots of a tree and he was about to catch it, when Ashfur tackled him out the way. The squirrel ran and the tree fell, narrowly missing Russetpaw’s leg.
“Thanks. I didn’t realise that the tree was going to fall,” Russetpaw thanked his mentor.
“Be more careful next time.”
“How did you know it was going to fall?” Smokefoot asked him.
“I, errr, heard it.” He turned and walked back to camp, Russetpaw followed. Mothstar was sitting with Fleetfoot and eating a small vole.
When Mothstar saw them enter camp, she ran over and asked: “What happened?”
“A tree fell. I had to get Russetpaw out of the way.” She nodded after he said that and ran off…

Chapter 1

Russetpaw was washing his legs after his training. They were a bit scarred from fights with his sister Littlepaw. He went into the apprentice’s den and lay down on his nest. The cave had smooth walls and bracken was covering the floor. Fernpaw padded in, her silver pelt glittering in the fading sunlight. She looked exhausted. Her littermate (Wrenpaw) came in and greeted Russetpaw with a flick of her tail and Thunderpaw came in shortly after. The den was quickly becoming busy again, so Russetpaw faked being asleep to avoid an awkward conversation with his sister. Russetpaw sat up when Cherryfall entered. “Russetpaw, Mothstar wants to see you.” Hearing that, Russetpaw stood up and followed Cherryfall to the centre of camp. Russetpaw went over to the leader’s den and sat outside waiting for Mothstar. A pale-brown tail (with darker flecks) beckoned him in. He pushed through the vines covering the entrance and saw Mothstar sitting with Fleetfoot, sharing another vole. Russetpaw sat down in front of them and cocked his head slightly, “What is it Mothstar? Why do you need me?”
“Well, I’ve received a prophecy, and I think you’re part of it. Do you have any special powers?”
“No,” Russetpaw told her, “Well, not that I know.” She sighed and stood up, dismissing him with a flick of her tail. Russetpaw left the leader’s den, then jerked his head around. His ears flattened against his head, trying to block out the crash. He saw Ashfur doing the same and ran over. Ashfur pricked his ears up and said “Owlclan.” Mothstar came out looking worried with Fleetfoot at her side. Russetpaw heard a crack and turned his head toward the oak tree in the centre camp, he saw Hollyflower sitting underneath. He tackled her out of the way and the tree fell. Wrenpaw’s left hind leg was caught un-der the tree as it fell. She was yowling in pain as Ashfur went over to free her. “Russetpaw!” he called, “Lift the oak!” Russetpaw reared up, and using his shoulders to help, he lifted up the tree. Ashfur managed to drag Wrenpaw out as Russetpaw wobbled. He dropped the tree and jumped when Mothstar whispered in his ear: “You shouldn’t have been able to lift the oak. It’s impossible. Maybe you are the one!”
“Doubt it.”
“How! No other cat has done that!” Their conversation was interrupted by Silverwing, an Owlclan queen. Her eyes were slightly unfocused, but apart from that she looked fine. She was panting, making it hard for her to talk.
“Why are you here?” Mothstar asked her.
“I’m here because-“ She coughed violently, “Because of a forest fire in our camp.”
“A forest fire?!”
“Ashstar is stuck inside the camp!” Silverwing turned. Russetpaw noticed her swollen belly and guessed she would be kitting in 19 moons. Fleetfoot looked around the camp and called,
“Ashfur, Oakheart, Russetpaw and Jaggedtail go with Silverwing. Hollowheart, Thunderpaw and Littlepaw go on hunting patrol. The rest help me move this tree!” The camp was filled with activity. Russetpaw followed behind Ashfur (who was upfront beside Silverwing). Behind Russetpaw were Oakheart and Jaggedtail, who were arguing about what they should do. Silverwing was nearing the river, so she called behind her
“Be carefully of the stones in the river. You could slip at any moment.” She then had a coughing fit as she jumped from stone to stone. They all started coughing as soon as they crossed the river. A thick plume of smoke was rising from camp, and Ashstar was stuck inside with no chance of escape. A big fallen tree was blocking the entrance. Russetpaw knew what he had to do, he stood on his hind legs and pushed the tree up so it was resting on his shoulders. He shuddered under the weight and called to Ashstar,
“Please be quick! I’m not sure how much longer I can hold this tree!”
Ashstar bounded out just as Russetpaw dropped the tree. The flames were licking his pelt, but he couldn’t feel them. Silverwing jumped as the fire became more violent, they were surrounding Silverwing, Russetpaw, Ashfur, Jaggedtail and Oakheart.
Russetpaw realised that he was immune to fire, so he walked through the flames. His pelt glowed slightly once he had passed through them. He crouched down and closed his eyes. He saw the fire burn down, so he opened his eyes. The fire had burned out! Silverwing lightly touched his back with her tail as a way of saying ‘thank you’. Ashfur nudged Russetpaw with his nose and muttered,
“Now that was impressive. Just don’t go around the camp bragging about it. Mothstar, and only Mothstar, needs to know about this. Just her, okay?” He nodded and Ashfur started back to Shoreclan’s territory. The other Shoreclan cats followed.

The world
Chapter 1

Ellie awoke on the floor of her apartment. In her side there was a dull ache from where she had been stabbed by a knife. She figured that she must have pasted out from excessive blood loss. She looked around for her brother and sisters, they weren't there. “Tobias? Evelyn? Amber? Lily? Fern?” she called in a hoarse voice. “Ember? Raven? Octavia? Maple?” she continued calling for her siblings. The floor blurred out of focus as she slumped back down. She was aware of faint voices, but that was the last she remembered…….

She awoke again in a laboratory room. Her head and side ached. The professor stared at her and muttered to himself:
“To much. No more than 50 milli-litres.” Ellie had wide eyes and he turned to her. “Nice to meet you. But you really shouldn't have survived that much poison. It's impossible!”

“What?”

“I said it wasn't possible!”

“I am a hybrid,” she pointed out.

“Maybe they should have called you ‘Mary Sue’.” She elbowed him and he groaned, “Your elbows hurt.”

“Go figure,” she muttered.

“Now stop this. I need to perform tests on you. To see why you're not affected by the poison.”

“Почему вы хотите сделать что вы ублюдок?” She muttered.

“Cука.” He replied, “See, I do know Russian as well.” She rolled her eyes and layed back. He started the tests…

7 days later….

Ellie was sitting on the floor of the kitchen playing with Octavia. She looked up when Olivia entered, but the quickly went back to playing with Tavia. Olivia looked at Tobias and beckoned to him to join her in the hallway. She and Tobias were bound by a connection formed from a failed experiment. They both still had the scars to show for it. “Tobias, this isn't safe. You can't drag your sisters into this hunt.”

“It's already to late,” Ellie said from behind them. She had Tavia in her arms and muttered to Tobias, “Как я уже сказал, это поздно. Просто убедитесь, что другие не узнать, как Октавия. Он будет перевернуть ее мир вверх дном.”

“What?” Olivia asked confused.

“She said ‘As I said, it’s to late. Just make sure the others don't find out like Octavia. It would flip her world upside-down',” he quoted. Olivia sighed and watched Ellie carry her little sister up the stairs.

“She's like another mother,” Olivia muttered wistfully. Tobias nodded and went back into the kitchen. He hugged Amber and Lily as they went up stairs to their rooms. Tobias looked around the empty kitchen with a sad look on his face.

“I wish the others didn't have to do their jobs for the hunt. I miss them.”
(I'm doing more. Please excuse my poor spelling and grammar, this is like 4 in the morning XD)
“I miss then too,” Olivia said while squeezing his shoulder. Tobias sighed and leaned against the sink. Ellie came down and said:
“Ember's coming back.” She held up her phone to prove it. On the screen there was Ellie and Ember's conversation.

“That's great news,” Tobias sighed, “I'm going to bed. You?”

“Yep,” they both answered in unison. Ellie went up and came back down in a black nightie. It clung to her like glue, showing her ribcage bones. Her tattoos curled around her body, her pale skin making them standout. She grabbed a glass of water and shot a venous look at her brother, then she disappeared back up stairs.

“Why does she have a glass of water?”

“Fern's has run out.” Tobias went up the stairs without a second glance over his shoulder. Some rift had happened between the siblings and Olivia really wanted to find out what had happened after her last visit…

The last visit
The last visit was a year ago. Olivia and Tobias were always busy with their work and neither of them had much time for Tobias's younger siblings. And Ellie was always avoiding capture. You see, Ellie attended this ‘choosing ceremony’ thing and every person had their own allocated ticket which told them which side of the hunt they would be on. That time, Ellie was on Hunted side, not the Hunter side she usually was. She kept quite about it, but Tobias eventually found out. He was mad. Since then, she's still evading capture, but she also had family life.which she struggled with. On the day Olivia left them to go to New York was the day when Ellie and Tobias had the deadly argument. It had happened right in front of Octavia, which made her even more vulnerable than a 6 year old already is.
The rift had caused all sorts of family problems which finally resulted in Ellie and Tobias not talking. They only tolerated each other, not loved each other like they used to. It had a HUGE effect on the family. Amber and Lily had started arguing as well. It wasn’t good. When Olivia had come back from the trip they acted all ‘Happy Family’ because they didn’t want her to know about it. But now, the act had clearly worn thin…

Chapter 2
It was dawn by the time Olivia awoke. She could hear shouting downstairs, so she ran down as fast as she could.
“What the?!” she cried, clearly confused at what she saw. Tobias was in mid-punch with Ellie rammed against the wall. Tobias looked at her, but then was punched in the jaw by his sister.
“Ты идиот. Дон 't, которую вы когда-нибудь сделать это снова,” she snarled at him.
“Talk in English for the angel’s sake!”
“Why should I?” she asked before stalking off. Tobias had a red mark on his jaw where Ellie punched him. Olivia felt it gently and said:
“It’s going to bruise.” He sighed and looked at Olivia with eyes which said: Tell me, what am I doing wrong? I’ve raised her with all the love and care I can, yet she’s pushed me out of her world. Why? What have I done wrong?
“I don’t know. Maybe you should just leave her. I’m going see if she’s okay,” Olivia told him before disappearing upstairs. Tobias had his head against the cold window and thought to himself, I’m trying too hard. Maybe I’m hopeless like he said. Maybe I should just give up.

Olivia leaned her back against Ellie’s door. She could hear crying.
“Ellie?” she called gently, “Can I come in?” There was a muffled reply which Olivia took as a yes. She pushed the door open and saw Ellie sitting on the bed. It was quite easy to tell she was a hybrid because of her slightly pointy ears, her sharp chin and her cheekbones which you could see quite well. She was skinnier than any other girl her age because of the torture inflicted upon her in the Underworld. As a baby she was stolen away by demons and raised as their own. When she was finally returned she looked different, she was much skinnier for a start and she had a numerous amount of scars over her body. Olivia was jerked away from the past by Ellie’s voice,
“What do you want?”
“I just want to see if you’re alright.”
“Would you be alright if you’ve been abused by your family?!”
“But-“
“No!” Ellie cried, “I DON’T need help!” Olivia was pushed out the room as Ellie stood up. She wasn’t even touching Olivia!
Tobias looked up when Olivia came down.
“So?” he asked expectedly.
“She’s acting like a right old b****. Or as the Russian’s would say, ‘сука’.”
“I didn’t know you knew Russian!” he said surprised.
“I can swear in five different languages and speak in 3,” Olivia told him. She ginned when she saw his impressed look. Amber’s hazel-brown hair had fallen loose of her bun and was in her eyes. Her eyes were grey with blue streaks. She was sitting in her white nightie with amber flowers on. Her twin (Lily) was wearing a white nightie with Lilly flowers on. Her pale-blonde hair had fallen loose of her bun and was in her eyes as well. Her eyes and blue with grey streaks in them. Lily looked up when Olivia had said *, but she quickly went back to colouring. Amber was sat on a stool and was banging her feet against the counter. Everyone jumped when the door opened. The twins ran toward the girl who had entered, and they were shouting:
“Ember! Ember’s home!” again and again. Ember hugged them and looked around.
“Where’s Ellie?” she asked curiously.
“In her room,” Olivia replied curtly.
“You must be Olivia Commonwealth. I’ve been hearing so much about you!”
“Really?” Olivia rolled her eyes after her sarcastic comment. Ember went up to Ellie’s room and went in, Olivia and Tobias following. Ellie was still facing the wall, crying. She didn’t turn when Ember entered, which was unusual. Ember gripped Ellie’s shoulder, but recoiled when Ellie looked at her. Ellie’s eyes were filled with a white light, blocking out her normal eye colours, and a ghostly figure appeared. He was a Degron (demon and other type of creature) prince. He turned normal. His skin had a faint silver sheen and he wore a long white robe decorated in emeralds, which signified his importance among the Degron ranks. He spoke in a soft but harsh voice,
“We need Ellie Briarbranch. She is one of the Hunted. You are Hunters. She is not safe with you, her family.” Olivia looked shocked and grabbed Ellie. Her eyes had returned to the normal blue and gold colours. Ellie shook herself out of Olivia’s grip and grabbed her obsidian blade from the bedside table. She was wearing her black gear, so she sheathed her sword on her back along with her hunting bow and gold-tipped arrows. She opened out her feathery wings and perched on the windowsill as she undid the window. She turned to face them, and her youth was gone from her face. Entirely gone.
“Goodbye,” was the last word she spoke before leaning backwards out the window. She landed on her feet on the pavement outside. Tobias turned and belted into his room to change, coming out within 4 minutes of going in. His hair was askew as he pulled a jumper on over his t-shirt. His grey jeans clung to him as he thundered down the stairs onto his motorbike. He signalled to Olivia telling her to be quick. She went into her room and pulled on her midnight-purple tank top and black leggings along with white trainers. As soon as she was outside, she was on the back of the motorbike with Tobias. The raced after Ellie…

Ellie was running along the road. She looked behind her and saw nothing but mist. Her feet thumped against the ground as she turned a sharp corner. She stopped after running into an alleyway and caught her breath. Her head was pounding, so she automatically put her hand to her head. Ellie was shocked to find her hand covered in blood. She saw the Degron prince and unsheathed her sword. She hissed at him,
“I would happily separate your head from your body, you do know that?”
“I am royalty. You wouldn’t dare.”
“Oh, I would.”
“But then the High court would torture you.”
“Sometimes to stay alive you have to kill your mind,” she told him curtly. Olivia and Tobias arrived just to see Ellie slice his head off. The prince’s head bounced on the floor before Ellie picked it up and threw it into a bin. She used a concealing spell to hide his body then she turned to them.
“You never saw any of this,” she growled at them. Olivia looked at Tobias before slipping off the motorbike and walking up to Ellie. Ellie turned and belted away down the alleyway with Olivia following.

The world

She clambered up the tall brick wall and left Olivia behind her. Olivia cursed before turning around and walking to where Tobias was. Ellie dropped down to the other side of the wall just as Olivia turned around. She was preparing for a run-up. She charged toward the wall and cleared it. She dropped onto Ellie who swore at her.

Wow… Nicee. Really like the funny bits… (Just a question, but is that James from HP, or is it just a coincidence? Like, he can teleport and everything…)
I got a feeling I'm going to love Claudia…
PLZ CONTINUE IT!
(I always have a fear that people won't continue their stories, since that happens to me one thousand out of one hundred times…)
I plan on continuing it, and James is just a random name.
Oh, okay!
