Here's something I felt like typing:

Dawnstar yawned as she woke up in the dawn-sun. Her silver-grey pelt shined and her blue eyes twinkled as she leapt down from the highrock. She greeted Russetpelt, Wrenmist and Thunderclaw with a flick of her tail. She felt honoured to have the cat's in the prophecy as part of her clan. Russetpelt was lifting up and boulder with his shoulders (he was standing on his hind legs) and Thunderclaw was dragging out a kit which looked dead. Wrenmist rested her paws on the kit's shoulders and closed her eyes. Mist started forming as the kit awoke, looking fine. The warriors and queens who were gathered round looked relieved. “Great work Wrenmist!” Dawnstar called over her shoulder, “Boulderclaw!” She summoned her deputy. “Can you set up some patrols. Leaf-bear will soon be coming,” in reply, he nodded and yowled,
“Russetpelt, Ivypaw, Featherpaw and Goldenleaf, can you please assemble the hunting patrol. Thunderclaw, Reedpaw, Doveheart and Littlebird, you're on border patrol duty.” Boulderclaw then had to run off to fetch back some kits who had ran out of camp. Dawnstar watched as the patrols faded out of sight and sighed. Today was a beautiful day, how could Darkclan be planning an attack?…

6 moons later,…

Dawnstar called together all the cats in the clan. “Today is the day of the great battle against Darkclan. The place of no stars are helping them because Darkclan's leader is Tigerstar's sister. We only have Starclan to fight along side with. Does anycat want to come forward about being trained by the Dark forest? No? Well then lets just hope no clancat is being trained,” Dawnstar looked around and continued more confident this time, “We should win. We have the cats of the prophecy with us. Would Russetpelt, Wrenmist and Thunderclaw please come forward.” (I will continue later, soz if you're enjoying it )
They came forward and Dawnstar continued:
“As you probably already know, Russetpelt has unmatchible strength and can control fire. Wrenmist can heal any injury and has direct contact to Starclan and Thunderclaw can control the weather and is unbeatable in battle. We should win this. Just remember to avoid battle with Silverwing, Owlfeather and Ravenclaw.” Murmurs went through the clan as Dawnstar jumped down. She looked at the sky as snowflakes started to fall. It was Leaf-bear and snow had started falling. Great. Just great. Dawnstar thought, I've just lied to my clan and led them into a battle they cannot win.

The world
Chapter 1

Ellie awoke on the floor of her apartment. In her side there was a dull ache from where she had been stabbed by a knife. She figured that she must have pasted out from excessive blood loss. She looked around for her brother and sisters, they weren't there. “Tobias? Evelyn? Amber? Lily? Fern?” she called in a hoarse voice. “Ember? Raven? Octavia? Maple?” she continued calling for her siblings. The floor blurred out of focus as she slumped back down. She was aware of faint voices, but that was the last she remembered…….

She awoke again in a laboratory room. Her head and side ached. The professor stared at her and muttered to himself:
“To much. No more than 50 milli-litres.” Ellie had wide eyes and he turned to her. “Nice to meet you. But you really shouldn't have survived that much poison. It's impossible!”

“What?”

“I said it wasn't possible!”

“I am a hybrid,” she pointed out.

“Maybe they should have called you ‘Mary Sue’.” She elbowed him and he groaned, “Your elbows hurt.”

“Go figure,” she muttered.

“Почему вы хотите сделать что вы ублюдок?” She muttered.

“Cука.” He replied, “See, I do know Russian as well.” She rolled her eyes and layed back. He started the tests…

7 days later….

Ellie was sitting on the floor of the kitchen playing with Octavia. She looked up when Olivia entered, but the quickly went back to playing with Tavia. Olivia looked at Tobias and beckoned to him to join her in the hallway. She and Tobias were bound by a connection formed from a failed experiment. They both still had the scars to show for it. “Tobias, this isn't safe. You can't drag your sisters into this hunt.”

“It's already to late,” Ellie said from behind them. She had Tavia in her arms and muttered to Tobias, “Как я уже сказал, это поздно. Просто убедитесь, что другие не узнать, как Октавия. Он будет перевернуть ее мир вверх дном.”

“What?” Olivia asked confused.

“She said ‘As I said, it’s to late. Just make sure the others don't find out like Octavia. It would flip her world upside-down',” he quoted. Olivia sighed and watched Ellie carry her little sister up the stairs.

“She's like another mother,” Olivia muttered wistfully. Tobias nodded and went back into the kitchen. He hugged Amber and Lily as they went up stairs to their rooms. Tobias looked around the empty kitchen with a sad look on his face.

“I wish the others didn't have to do their jobs for the hunt. I miss them.”

Hey, this is good! But I think that if you're going to speak in a language that not everyone can speak in, then you should translate it (unless it isn't important or anything) so that the reader could know what they're saying. You could put it in italics to show it's different, and then maybe say "… I said in ". But you did do that the second time, so I think it's ok… it just could cause some confusion for your reader(s). You have to continue!!!!

Thx! I'm not going to translate it on scratch because it is VERY rude some of it. And I did more, but the WiFi dropped out so I lost it :'(

“I miss then too,” Olivia said while squeezing his shoulder. Tobias sighed and leaned against the sink. Ellie came down and said:
“Ember's coming back.” She held up her phone to prove it. On the screen there was Ellie and Ember's conversation.

“That's great news,” Tobias sighed, “I'm going to bed. You?”

“Yep,” they both answered in unison. Ellie went up and came back down in a black nightie. It clung to her like glue, showing her ribcage bones. Her tattoos curled around her body, her pale skin making them standout. She grabbed a glass of water and shot a venous look at her brother, then she disappeared back up stairs.

“Why does she have a glass of water?”

“Fern's has run out.” Tobias went up the stairs without a second glance over his shoulder. Some rift had happened between the siblings and Olivia really wanted to find out what had happened after her last visit…

The last visit
The last visit was a year ago. Olivia and Tobias were always busy with their work and neither of them had much time for Tobias's younger siblings. And Ellie was always avoiding capture. You see, Ellie attended this ‘choosing ceremony’ thing and every person had their own allocated ticket which told them which side of the hunt they would be on. That time, Ellie was on Hunted side, not the Hunter side she usually was. She kept quite about it, but Tobias eventually found out. He was mad. Since then, she's still evading capture, but she also had family life.which she struggled with. On the day Olivia left them to go to New York was the day when Ellie and Tobias had the deadly argument. It had happened right in front of Octavia, which made her even more vulnerable than a 6 year old already is.

This needs a name.

Prologue

Russetkit was rolling around with his friends Thunderkit and Wrenkit. His dull green eyes sparkled in the dawn-sun. His mother was nearby with his sister Littlekit and she called him over to be washed. “Today is your apprentice ceremony, you have to be presentable. Or how will they think of me? Some poor queen who can’t control her kits?” Cherryfall told him sternly while she was washing him, “Keep still fidget! I can’t wash you. You didn’t see Littlekit complaining did you?” At that Littlekit smirked and said to her mother, “I wonder who my mentor will be? Oh! I really hope it’s Smokefoot! He’s the best!”
“No he’s not! I want one of the best like Hollowheart!”
“Why him? He’s evil,” Littlekit growled at Russetkit, “And anyway, I’m going to get the better mentor!”
“Stop arguing,” Cherryfall growled at them. “And stay still Russetkit!” Russetkit hissed, then stalked off to be with his friends. He found them outside the nursery with Riversong. Riversong had her tail curled around her daughter and Thunderkit was hovering nearby, waiting for his farther (Cinderdust) to come. A cinder-grey tom with dusty-brown flecks came over and picked Thunderkit up by the scruff of his neck.
“Hey!” Thunderkit yowled in surprise, “Where are we going?” His farther didn’t answer and kept on carrying him.

It was sunhigh by the time Mothstar got the ceremony started for Russetkit. His friends and sister had already had theirs, so he thought it wasn’t fair. Cherryfall pushed him out the nursery and he stood next to the leader. The ceremony began,…

Mothstar: “Ashfur, it is now your time for an apprentice. You will be mentor to Russetpaw.”
Russetpaw and Ashfur walked up to each other.
Mothstar: “Ashfur, the whole clan knows your loyalty and dedication. Do your best to pass on these qualities on to Russetpaw.”
They touched noses and the clan cheered, before they walked off the training glade. Russetpaw was bouncing up and down as they walked toward the glade.
“Keep still Russetpaw!” he hissed, clearly annoyed. “Right, now first move. The crouch. Copy me,” he crouched down and Russetpaw copied. “Good! Now, when in position most twitch their tails. Try it,” Ashfur stood normally and watched as Russetpaw’s tail twitched, and he grinned. “Now try to pounce on this piece of moss,” Ashfur picked some moss and lay it a tail-length away. Russetpaw pounced, but skimmed the ground too close and he skidded. “Try again,” Ashfur coaxed him. Russetpaw tried unsuccessfully ten times before he caught the moss. Ashfur put another piece of moss where the last bit was and demonstrated how you do it. He crouched down, hindquarters wiggling, and pounced. He grabbed the moss in his jaws after pouncing perfectly. “Now you try,” he said with a mouthful of moss. He dropped the moss and Russetpaw copied him as best as he could, but missed. “You’re doing it too close to the ground,” Ashfur scolded Russetpaw. Russetpaw tried again, doing it perfectly. Ashfur led him back out of the training glade and toward the stream. The soft grass swayed under their paws, every pawstep disturbing it again. Russetpaw saw his sister with Smokefoot and ran over to her, nearly slipping into the stream. She hissed at him and pounced on a mouse, catching it immediately. He saw a squirrel, so he chased it. It stopped at the roots of a tree and he was about to catch it, when Ashfur tackled him out the way. The squirrel ran and the tree fell, narrowly missing Russetpaw’s leg.
“Thanks. I didn’t realise that the tree was going to fall,” Russetpaw thanked his mentor.
“Be more careful next time.”
“How did you know it was going to fall?” Smokefoot asked him.
“I, errr, heard it.” He turned and walked back to camp, Russetpaw followed. Mothstar was sitting with Fleetfoot and eating a small vole.
When Mothstar saw them enter camp, she ran over and asked: “What happened?”
“A tree fell. I had to get Russetpaw out of the way.” She nodded after he said that and ran off…

Chapter 1

Russetpaw was washing his legs after his training. They were a bit scarred from fights with his sister Littlepaw. He went into the apprentice’s den and lay down on his nest. The cave had smooth walls and bracken was covering the floor. Fernpaw padded in, her silver pelt glittering in the fading sunlight. She looked exhausted. Her littermate (Wrenpaw) came in and greeted Russetpaw with a flick of her tail and Thunderpaw came in shortly after. The den was quickly becoming busy again, so Russetpaw faked being asleep to avoid an awkward conversation with his sister. Russetpaw sat up when Cherryfall entered. “Russetpaw, Mothstar wants to see you.” Hearing that, Russetpaw stood up and followed Cherryfall to the centre of camp. Russetpaw went over to the leader’s den and sat outside waiting for Mothstar. A pale-brown tail (with darker flecks) beckoned him in. He pushed through the vines covering the entrance and saw Mothstar sitting with Fleetfoot, sharing another vole. Russetpaw sat down in front of them and cocked his head slightly, “What is it Mothstar? Why do you need me?”
“Well, I’ve received a prophecy, and I think you’re part of it. Do you have any special powers?”
“No,” Russetpaw told her, “Well, not that I know.” She sighed and stood up, dismissing him with a flick of her tail. Russetpaw left the leader’s den, then jerked his head around. His ears flattened against his head, trying to block out the crash. He saw Ashfur doing the same and ran over. Ashfur pricked his ears up and said “Owlclan.” Mothstar came out looking worried with Fleetfoot at her side. Russetpaw heard a crack and turned his head toward the oak tree in the centre camp, he saw Hollyflower sitting underneath. He tackled her out of the way and the tree fell. Wrenpaw’s left hind leg was caught un-der the tree as it fell. She was yowling in pain as Ashfur went over to free her. “Russetpaw!” he called, “Lift the oak!” Russetpaw reared up, and using his shoulders to help, he lifted up the tree. Ashfur managed to drag Wrenpaw out as Russetpaw wobbled. He dropped the tree and jumped when Mothstar whispered in his ear: “You shouldn’t have been able to lift the oak. It’s impossible. Maybe you are the one!”
“Doubt it.”
“How! No other cat has done that!” Their conversation was interrupted by Silverwing, an Owlclan queen. Her eyes were slightly unfocused, but apart from that she looked fine. She was panting, making it hard for her to talk.
“Why are you here?” Mothstar asked her.
“I’m here because-“ She coughed violently, “Because of a forest fire in our camp.”
“A forest fire?!”
“Ashstar is stuck inside the camp!” Silverwing turned. Russetpaw noticed her swollen belly and guessed she would be kitting in 19 moons. Fleetfoot looked around the camp and called,
“Ashfur, Oakheart, Russetpaw and Jaggedtail go with Silverwing. Hollowheart, Thunderpaw and Littlepaw go on hunting patrol. The rest help me move this tree!” The camp was filled with activity. Russetpaw followed behind Ashfur (who was upfront beside Silverwing). Behind Russetpaw were Oakheart and Jaggedtail, who were arguing about what they should do. Silverwing was nearing the river, so she called behind her
“Be carefully of the stones in the river. You could slip at any moment.” She then had a coughing fit as she jumped from stone to stone. They all started coughing as soon as they crossed the river. A thick plume of smoke was rising from camp, and Ashstar was stuck inside with no chance of escape. A big fallen tree was blocking the entrance. Russetpaw knew what he had to do, he stood on his hind legs and pushed the tree up so it was resting on his shoulders. He shuddered under the weight and called to Ashstar,
“Please be quick! I’m not sure how much longer I can hold this tree!”
Ashstar bounded out just as Russetpaw dropped the tree. The flames were licking his pelt, but he couldn’t feel them. Silverwing jumped as the fire became more violent, they were surrounding Silverwing, Russetpaw, Ashfur, Jaggedtail and Oakheart.

A New Life: The Sacrifice

Chapter One

“Wait, Petalstar,” the deputy of ThunderClan mews to his leader, stopping her from leaping down from the highledge. She had just preformed a Warrior Ceremony, turning little Mintpaw and tiny Leafpaw into Mintblaze and Leaftail.

The whole of ThunderClan watches as Petalstar pauses and turns to her deputy. “Yes, Grayheart?” she asks him.

"How could you?!“ Grayheart shouts accusingly, his voice echoing throughout the ThunderClan camp.

”What do you mean?“ Petalstar asks, confused.

”Don't act like you don't know, Petalstar,“ Grayheart says, his eyes narrowing.

”What are you saying, Grayheart?“ Petalstar asks sharply.

”I know who the real father to your kits are,“ Grayheart says, his eyes moving down to the very faint bulge of his leader's stomach. ”It isn't Stormstrike like what you've told everyone.“

Petalstar stares at him, before saying, ”I don't know what you're talking about, Grayheart.“

”Yes, you do. Stormstrike died in the bloody battle against ShadowClan, which was only a couple of sunrises ago. Right before you announced who your mate was. Right before the clan was told you were expecting kits. How very convenient.“

”What do you mean? S-Stormstrike fought very bravely in the battle, and he wouldn't have died if it weren't for Ivystar. He killed my mate before I told him about our kits! And he was only one of many of our cats to die in that battle!“ Petalstar's voice wavers when she says Stormstrike's name.

”Indeed. But I noticed something. Two near-identical cats, fighting. Both have black fur and green eyes, the only difference being their clan. One from ThunderClan, one from ShadowClan,“ Grayheart murmurs, apparently thinking. The rest of ThunderClan sits in rapt silence, watching their leader and deputy.

”Your point is?“ Petalstar asks.

”It was very smart of you to cover up who your real mate was with a look-alike. Even smarter to announce your kits with him after his death, so he couldn't deny it. And you being the leader, no one questioned it. Too bad you made the smallest of mistakes. A mistake I've discovered,“ Grayheart says this, all the while looking very pleased with himself.

He pauses, as if waiting for Petalstar to respond. When she doesn't say anything, he continues.

”Your mistake being that you forgot to fully hide the scent of a ShadowClan cat. But that was a half-moon ago, and I just brushed it off. It was probably just nothing, I thought. You could've picked up the scent without realizing it while patrolling the ShadowClan border. That happens all the time, after all.

"But then it happened again, and again. I kept smelling the faintest smell of ShadowClan! That made me curious. What could the ThunderClan leader be doing with some cat from ShadowClan? So the next time you left the camp alone, I followed you. At first, all seemed normal. You were stalking a mouse, close to the border of ShadowClan, I had noted, when a cat stepped out from behind a tree. You two greeted each other like old friends. Then, together, you dissapeared into ShadowClan territory. I would've followed you for even longer, if I hadn't been so very shocked with who it was that you were with.“

Grayheart pauses, taking in the surprise and fear on his leader's face. He then turns on highlede, from facing Petalstar to facing the rest of the clan.

”Petalstar here, your very own leader, was with Ivystar, the leader of ThunderClan's rivals!" Grayheart roars, and instantly the gathered ThunderClan cats murmur with one another.

“S-Silence!” Petalstar shrieks, her voice catching.

“What, Petalstar? Are you going to deny it?” Grayheart taunts, smirking. His leader turns to look at him. “ThunderClan is waiting for you to explain.”

Like what he said, every single ThunderClan cat is watching their leader, ears perked.

Petalstar waves her tail uncertainty. “I-I was meeting up with Ivystar,” she admits, shaking as she steps forward.

“Ha! So you see, ThunderClan, your leader here has broken the Warrior Code,” Grayheart meows as he pushes Petalstar out of the way, also stepping forward. “She has met up with a cat from another clan, and is going to have his kits. They have been meeting with one another for the past moon! This cannot go unnoticed!”

“H-how do you know how long Ivystar and I have been meeting up?” Petalstar asks, her ears perking up. “I thought you only found out recently!”

The deputy rolls his eyes before mewing, “Okay, so I followed you the very first time you vanished, as well as the times after that. But everything else is true!”

"Then the cat's scent that led to the battle that killed Stormstrike as well as many other cats was your scent?!“ Petalstar shouts, her eyes widening as she realizes it.

”Yes,“ Grayheart says, nodding. ”But it was all for a good cause!“ He adds when the cats of ThunderClan start murmuring again.

”But more than half of our entire clan was killed because of you!" Petalstar counters, and turns to the rest of her clan. "He made most of our Warriors die! He made all of our Apprentices die, including his own! He is responsible for bringing both WindClan and RiverClan into the battle, no doubt making some of their cats die as well!“

The cats stare at Grayheart, and Hazelwing, a mother of four of the seven Apprenrices who were killed, bristles as she stands up. ”I don't care whether our leader's kits are going to be half-clan! You made my kits die!“

However, she is the only cat who reacts like that. Most of the other ThunderClan cats just shrug.

Gaining back his confidence with the lack of supporters for Petalstar, Grayheart loudly mews, ”I think Petalstar should be exiled from the clans!"

Aside from Hazelwing, all of ThunderClan yells in agreement.

Petalstar takes a deep breath, as if she is about to say something, but then a cat in the crowd starts to chant, “GraySTAR, GraySTAR, GraySTAR!” and not long after, everyone is chanting. Grayheart basks under the chant for a while, obviously enjoying it, but he stops it by waving his tail to silence the gathered cats.

The deputy turns to Petalstar. "The clan has voted me as leader, and I hereby exile you, Petalshine, from all the clans,“ he calls her by her Warrior name, a sign of disrespect.

”What?!“ The leader meows, astonished. ”You can't do that!“

”But if the clan agrees, I can,“ Grayheart mews smugly. ”Goodbye forever.“

When Petalstar doesn't move, Grayheart signals to Stonetail and Coalfeather. They leap up onto highledge and drag their (former) leader down through the crowd. Everyone watches.

As they drag her to the entrance of the ThunderClan camp, Hazelwing whispers ”I'm so, so sorry,“ looking scared for her.

Petalstar rips herself free from Stonetail and Coalfeather's grip and murmurs back to Hazelwing, ”Goodbye, Hazelwing."

She turns and walks out of the camp, away from everyone's stares, away from her deputy, away from cats she thought were loyal to her.

She walks and doesn't look back.

That is BRILLIANT!! I would buy that book

This actually seems quite good! The hole battle thing was a little confusing, as well as the entire clan siding with the cat that tried to kill them all. There's only one other thing: though being an apprentice is an rank, it's also a occupation so it wouldn't be capitalized.

AHHH THANK YOU I REALLY APPRECIATE THE FEEDBACK!!!! :3333333

Chapter 1
Ellie was sitting on the floor of the kitchen playing with Octavia. She looked up when Olivia entered, but the quickly went back to playing with Tavia. Olivia looked at Tobias and beckoned to him to join her in the hallway. She and Tobias were bound by a connection formed from a failed experiment. They both still had the scars to show for it. “Tobias, this isn't safe. You can't drag your sisters into this hunt.”
“It's already too late,” Ellie said from behind them. She had Tavia in her arms and muttered to Tobias, “Как я уже сказал, это поздно. Просто убедитесь, что другие не узнать, как Октавия. Он будет перевернуть ее мир вверх дном.”
“What?” Olivia asked confused.
“She said ‘As I said, it’s too late.
He hugged Amber and Lily as they went upstairs to their rooms. Tobias looked around the empty kitchen with a sad look on his face.
“I wish the others didn't have to do their jobs for the hunt. I miss them.”
She grabbed a glass of water and shot a venous look at her brother, then she disappeared back upstairs.

She kept quiet about it, but Tobias eventually found out. He was mad. Since then, she's still evading capture, but she also had family life, which she struggled with. On the day Olivia left them to go to New York was the day when Ellie and Tobias had the deadly argument. It had happened right in front of Octavia, which made her even more vulnerable than a 6 year old already is. The rift had caused all sorts of family problems which finally resulted in Ellie and Tobias not talking. They only tolerated each other, not loved each other like they used to. It had a HUGE effect on the family. Amber and Lily had started arguing as well. It wasn’t good. When Olivia had come back from the trip they acted all ‘Happy Family’ because they didn’t want her to know about it. But now, the act had clearly worn thin…

Chapter 2
It was dawn by the time Olivia awoke. She could hear shouting downstairs, so she ran down as fast as she could.
“What the?!” she cried, clearly confused at what she saw. Tobias was in mid-punch with Ellie rammed against the wall. Tobias looked at her, but then was punched in the jaw by his sister.
“Ты идиот. Дон 't, которую вы когда-нибудь сделать это снова,” she snarled at him.
“Talk in English for the angel’s sake!”
“Why should I?” she asked before stalking off. Tobias had a red mark on his jaw where Ellie punched him. Olivia felt it gently and said:
“It’s going to bruise.” He sighed and looked at Olivia with eyes which said: Tell me, what am I doing wrong? I’ve raised her with all the love and care I can, yet she’s pushed me out of her world. Why? What have I done wrong?
“I don’t know. Maybe you should just leave her. I’m going see if she’s okay,” Olivia told him before disappearing upstairs. Tobias had his head against the cold window and thought to himself, I’m trying too hard. Maybe I’m hopeless like he said. Maybe I should just give up.

Olivia leaned her back against Ellie’s door. She could hear crying.
“Ellie?” she called gently, “Can I come in?” There was a muffled reply which Olivia took as a yes. She pushed the door open and saw Ellie sitting on the bed. It was quite easy to tell she was a hybrid because of her slightly pointy ears, her sharp chin and her cheekbones which you could see quite well. She was skinnier than any other girl her age because of the torture inflicted upon her in the Underworld. As a baby she was stolen away by demons and raised as their own. When she was finally returned she looked different, she was much skinnier for a started and she had a numerous amount of scars over her body. Olivia was jerked away from the past by Ellie’s voice,
“What do you want?”
“I just want to see if you’re alright.”
“Would you be alright if you’ve been abused by your family?!”
“But-“
“No!” Ellie cried, “I DON’T need help!” Olivia was pushed out the room as Ellie stood up. She wasn’t even touching Olivia!
Tobias looked up when Olivia came down.
“So?” he asked expectedly.
“She’s acting like a right old *. Or as the Russian’s would say, ‘сука’.”
“I didn’t know you knew Russian!” he said surprised.
“I can swear in five different languages and speak in 3,” Olivia told him. She ginned when she saw his impressed look. Amber’s hazel-brown hair had fallen loose of her bun and was in her eyes. Her eyes were grey with blue streaks. She was sitting in her white nightie with amber flowers on. Her twin (Lily) was wearing a white nightie with Lilly flowers on. Her pale-blonde hair had fallen loose of her bun and was in her eyes as well. Her eyes and blue with grey streaks in them. Lily looked up when Olivia had said *, but she quickly went back to colouring. Amber was sat on a stool and was banging her feet against the counter. Everyone jumped when the door opened. The twins ran toward the girl who had entered, and they were shouting:
“Ember! Ember’s home!” again and again. Ember hugged them and looked around.
“Where’s Ellie?” she asked curiously.
“In her room,” Olivia replied curtly.
“You must be Olivia Commonwealth. I’ve been hearing so much about you!”
“Really?” Olivia rolled her eyes after her sarcastic comment. Ember went up to Ellie’s room and went in, Olivia and Tobias following. Ellie was still facing the wall, crying. She didn’t turn when Ember entered, which was unusual. Ember gripped Ellie’s shoulder, but recoiled when Ellie looked at her. Ellie’s eyes were filled with a white light, blocking out her normal eye colours, and a ghostly figure appeared. He was a Degron (demon and other type of creature) prince. He turned normal. His skin had a faint silver sheen and he wore a long white robe decorated in emeralds, which signified his importance among the Degron ranks. He spoke in a soft but harsh voice,
“We need Ellie Briarbranch. She is one of the Hunted. You are Hunters. She is not safe with you, her family.” Olivia looked shocked and grabbed Ellie. Her eyes had returned to the normal blue and gold colours. Ellie shook herself out of Olivia’s grip and grabbed her obsidian blade from the bedside table. She was wearing her black gear, so she sheathed her sword on her back along with her hunting bow and gold-tipped arrows. She opened out her feathery wings and perched on the windowsill as she undid the window. She turned to face them, and her youth was gone from her face. Entirely gone.
“Goodbye,” was the last word she spoke before leaning backwards out the window. She landed on feet on the pavement outside. Tobias turned and belted into his room to change, coming out within 4 minutes of going in. His hair was askew as he pulled a jumper on over his t-shirt. His grey jeans clung to him as he thundered down the stairs onto his motorbike. He signalled to Olivia telling her to be quick. She went into her room and pulled on her midnight-purple tank top and black leggings along with white trainers. As soon as she was outside, she was on the back of the motorbike with Tobias. The raced after Ellie…

Ellie was running along the road. She looked behind her and saw nothing but mist.

This is going to turn out horrible, I can just feel it….

A new hope

Mousetail flicked away the dust gathering in the elder's den and grumbled: "I don't get why we have to sleep in this dump.“ Goldenfeather came in and scolded her mother,
”Be grateful you at least have a den. Some cats don't know what that's like!“ Fernkit and Lilykit tumbled in and bumped into Goldenfeather. They shrank back, scared. Lionkit came in, his ginger fur shining. He had blue-grey markings on his side, marking him as a water cat, a descendant of the old tribe ‘The Tribe Of Gifted Cats’. He tutted and turned to his mother,
”Goldenfeather, when will I be a ‘paw? My broken leg has healed and I’ve just turned 8 moons.“ Goldenfeather looked at him crossly before replying,
”It will happen when it happens. Today is Fernkit and Lilykit's ceremony. It might happen today, you never know."

Here's mine! XP
(It's a crossover… Percy Jackson and HP. If you only read HP, then just ignore the Neville bits… And she's a Lestrange in the HP version.)

Darkness Within

Part One

I hurried along an empty Hogwarts’ corridor, my face buried in a thick book. As I turned a sharp corner, I banged straight into two figures. I stumbled.
“Oh, so sorry!” I muttered, before glancing up at the people in front of me. My bright blue eyes that were so often praised for their shine widened at the sight of the oddity Luna Lovegood, with a very unlikely companion. My book dropped from my hands, landing with a muffled thud on the ground.
I quickly casted my eyes onto the ground, too afraid to look up again.
“I’m sorry,” I whispered swiftly. “I didn’t know that you’d be here. I was just heading to the common room. Excuse me.”
I tried to step pass the two in front of me, but Luna stopped me, genuinely smiling. I looked at her, startled. After all, very few people smiled at me, like, for real. Some laughed at me, yes, but not because they liked me. The ones that did really smile were usually teachers, and occasionally, my reflection in the mirror, but that was even rarer.
“Oh, don’t worry,” Luna said mistily. “It was as much our fault as yours. Wasn’t it, Draco?”
Luna looked at her companion expectantly, but he just stared coldly at me, as expected, his icy blue eyes boring straight through me. Luna frowned a little, and bent down to pick up my book, while I stood there, frozen, staring back at him.
“Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them,” Luna read the cover. “Well, it is a good book, but it’s a shame that they never mentioned Crumple-Horned Snorkacks or even—”
“Aquila Lestrange,” Draco said sharply to me, ignoring Luna. “You never saw us, do you understand? Not a word.”
His voice was forceful, warning me of the dangers if I did not do as he said.
I nodded, ducking my head low.
Luna handed me my book and I quickly ran off. As I rounded another corner, I heard Luna say, “You shouldn’t do that.”
“I do whatever I please.” Came the reply. “Anyway, she’s the daughter of Bellatrix Lestrange.”
“And you’re the son of—”
“I’m over that now.”
An unsatisfied sigh followed that particular announcement.
I quickly hurried along the corridors, going deeper and deeper into the castle, through secret passages and hidden doorways, down flight and flights of steep staircases until I finally reached my destination. I stepped in front of a seemingly empty stonewall.
“Cunning and sly,” I muttered, and the stone door slid open at the password. I stepped cautiously into the dim, green tinted room inside.
I rapidly skirted around the edge of the Slytherin’s common room, trying not to attract any attention. As usual, it did not work.
“Lestrange!” yelled a pug-faced girl. “Come here!”
I closed my eyes, and slowly walked over to her.
“Yes, Pansy?” I asked her, even though I knew what was coming.
She threw a stack of homework papers to me.
“Finish them by Monday,” Pansy snapped. “What are you doing, just standing there? Get to work!”
“Yes, Pansy,” I mumbled, and went over to a nearby table as Pansy and her cronies guffawed at the sight of me.
I sat down and started doing homework. After I was done with Pansy’s, I pulled out my own and started on that too. Seconds, minutes, then hours crawled pass. When I was finally done with all the work, I looked up and realized I was alone in the common room. The clock read 3:24 a.m. I was just gathering up the papers when the stone door slid open and Draco stepped in.
He froze when he spotted me, standing in one corner with the paperwork in my arms.
“It’s already three in the morning, Lestrange,” He spat. “Shouldn’t you be… asleep? What are you still doing here?”
I showed him the homework, deciding that maybe the truth was the best for this case.
“Pansy asked me to help her with her work,” I said truthfully.
He raised his eyebrows.
“And you agreed?” He asked skeptically. “What sort of Slytherin are you, to do other’s dirty work for them?”
I hung my head and kept silent. Obviously it was a rhetorical question.
He strode over to me, and snatched the papers away.
I gave a little squeal of surprise, but I resisted the urge to take it back.
“What are you do—” I started, watching in horror as he stalked over to the still-blazing fireplace. “No!”
But it was already done. I stared in disbelief as my hours of hard work slowly burned to ashes.
And when I looked up from the fireplace, Draco was gone.
That was the time I decided I had enough.
I went over to the stone door, and it slid open at my touch. I walked along empty corridors, up long passages, and into the Great Hall.
I went over to the big castle door hoping it would be easy to open, but it had a big chain and an even bigger lock on its handles.
“Alohomora,” I muttered. The lock did not budge. “Relashio. Diffindo!”
Finally, I got an idea.
“Defodio!”
The lock landed on the ground next to me, a huge chunk of it gouged out.
I turned to the chains.
“Deprimo.”
The chains fell away.
“Expulso!”
The door was blasted open. A sudden cold breeze came rushing in, ruffling my long, wavy dark hair that people always credited to my mother: Bellatrix Lestrange.
I stepped out into the grounds, the cool night air tingling my skin. I took a deep breath, staring out into the across the grounds…
I froze. A figure stood near the Whomping Willow, her white blonde hair glistening in the moonlight.
I took a step back, but Luna had already spotted me. She raised one hand in a greeting, and then gestured for me to join her.
To join or not to join, that was the question. I decided on join. After all, what was the harm? Luna didn’t seem the type to report on me, and I had to go to the Whomping Willow anyway. I had hidden supplies there, preparation for the inevitable.
I cautiously walked to where Luna was standing.
“Hi,” She said vacantly, then went back to patting the air in front of her.
“What are you doing?” I asked.
“You can’t see them? Well, that is a rather normal reaction.” She replied hazily.
Okay. This was getting weirder and weirder.
“What can’t I see?” I questioned politely.
“The thestrals, of course,” answered Luna vaguely.
I decided not to question her anymore, fearing that that might just result in more confusion.
“So…” I started hesitantly. “You’re taking a walk in the middle of the night.”
“Yes.”
“Why?”
“I wanted to come visit the thestrals.” Came the reply.
With anyone else, I would have dismissed the excuse and instantly launched into a series of interrogation, but with Luna… She seemed so sincere.
I bit my lip. Was she lying? It didn’t seem so, but I had to be careful.
“So what are you doing out in the grounds so late at night?” Luna asked me calmly.
“Um…” I searched around furiously for an excuse, but then decided on the truth. “I’m going to run away.”
Luna turned to me, smiling a little, “That’s nice.”
I blinked. That’s nice? That’s what she had said? No ‘Oh you shouldn’t’s or ‘I won’t let you’s, but ‘That’s nice’?
“Well…” I mumbled, at a loss for words.
“Where would you go?” Luna enquired, now mildly interested.
“Uh… I don’t know,” I admitted. “Just somewhere far, away from this place.”
And far away from Slytherin and its members. I added silently in my mind. Far away from Pansy and teachers and everyone… And far away from Draco, too. That was an especially wonderful bonus.
“How did you get out?” I asked, anxious to change the subject.
“Oh, that’s easy,” Luna said distantly. “There’s a secret doorway next to the main doors. I found it years ago, back when I was a first-year. Even the Weasley twins don’t know about it. I could show you if you stayed.”
“Um, alright.” That was the only thing I could think to respond. Weird thing was, Luna wasn’t saying it in a way that made me think that she was trying to stop me. She just honestly wanted to show me.
“Why do you want to leave?” Luna’s dreamy voice jolted me from my reverie.
I didn’t trust her. I shouldn’t trust her. But somewhere deep, deep down, I knew that if I didn’t quickly tell someone, I would shatter under the effort of keeping it in.
So I told Luna, my soft voice resonating around the still grounds. As I spoke, my voice grew from a whisper to a harsh shout. I told her everything, all my troubles with Pansy, troubles with Draco, troubles with myself; how everyone treated me like I was a bomb, waiting to detonate at any moment. Like I was my mother.
At one point of my story, Luna stopped stroking the thestrals and sat down on a large slab of stone. She was a good listener, and she heard me out. She never interrupted, not once, and by the time I was done, I had a sore throat and a strangely peaceful feeling had settled over me.
“Better?” Luna asked.
I nodded.
“Come on, let’s go back to the castle,” She whispered.
So I followed her towards the gaping hole in the doors, the sky streaked with pink and yellow and all the colours of sunrise.
And from that moment on, Luna and I were friends… At least, we were friends for a little while. But I am getting way ahead of myself.

After that encounter with Luna, Draco started treating me much better: As in, much, much better.
Somehow I got the feeling that Luna had talked him into it.
But I was fine with that. Pansy seemed a little laid off too, and I wondered how Luna had manage to get away with that. But I kept my mouth shut and didn’t complain about the improvement.
We did everything together, Luna and I. I had a sneaking suspicion that Luna purposely arranged that so I wouldn’t get harassed, like, anywhere. After all, nobody was crazy enough to pressure me when ‘Little Miss Oddity’ or ‘Loony Luna’ was around. Luna had this confident air about her that basically repelled bullies. Literary.

I never got a single threat after that. Only Pansy dared do it, and only in the safety of the Slytherin’s common room.
I knew it couldn’t last. Nothing last forever, after all.
I had just entered my dormitory when I heard the mutterings. I looked up to see Pansy and her fellow tyrants huddled together, whispering furiously. Of course, with my extreme bad luck, I had to share my room with Pansy and her clones. When they finally noticed me, they stopped their conversation and stared pointedly at me.
I walked over to my bed and sat down, drawing the curtains close around. The whispering started up again.
I listened hard, trying to catch what they were saying.
“Draco—” I heard Pansy mutter to one of them. “He—missing—maybe with that weird girl—what’s—name— Loony Luna.”
I stifled a giggle. So they found out about Luna and Draco. Well. It was about time that they realized. Of course, it would take more than a scant rumor to convince Pansy that Draco didn’t like her. She would most likely go investigating.
Sure enough, I heard:
“I—find—the truth—Draco would never—with that—crazy girl—”
I rolled my eyes at Pansy and her fantasies. She’ll find out soon. But for now…
I lay down on the bed, closing my eyes—
“Aquila!”
I sat up quickly as the curtains around me were ripped opened.
“What?!” I shrieked. “Who…?”
Pansy stood there, her arms crossed, staring daggers at me.
“I want you to do something.” She ordered. “Spy on Draco for me. Understand? Track him. I want to know what’s he doing all night.”
“Why can’t you do it yourself?” I snapped irritably. I instantly regretted my words as soon as they came out of my mouth, but it was too late. Pansy’s beady eyes narrowed, and she grabbed my arm, dragging me out of bed.
“Go.” She snarled at me. “NOW!”
Pansy shoved me towards the open door, nearly sending me toppling down three flights of stairs. I stopped myself from falling just in time, and whirled to face her.
“You’ll pay,” I said quietly, then turned and ran down to the common room.
I quickly made my way to the Great Hall, and then proceeded to the main doors. As usual, they were locked. But now I knew a secret trick that Luna had taught me.
I went over to the right side of the giant doors, and placed my hand on the cool wall, pulling out my wand.
“Ostendo,” I whispered, and a hidden door appeared. Luna had made that spell. She was really very smart— a fact close to no one knew, which was a real waste. She was awfully smart…
I tapped the door with my wand, and it slid opened smoothly.
I stepped out into the cool midnight air, determined to stay in the grounds until morning, and ignore Pansy’s threats. But as soon as I took one step out, my blood ran cold, my breath caught in my throat, and I stumbled back into the shadows of the castle.
Far across the grounds, two figures sat on a rock overlooking the lake. Their fingers were entwined, and they were sitting way too close for comfort, their white blonde hair gleaming silver in the moonlight.
Draco.
And Luna.
Together.
I swallowed hard, trying to decide what to do. Should I ignore them, go back to Pansy, and make up a random story of some sort? Should I go up to them and ask them to wipe my memory of that scene so no one would ever know?
‘No, that is a dumb idea.’ I told myself firmly. No point of giving Draco another reason to hate me.
So… What should I do now?
I finally decided on wandering the castle until morning. Better to waste it than to harm somebody—or should I say two somebody— when I can avoid it. Especially if one of them is my enemy and the other is my only friend. And while I walked, I could also think up a really good story to tell Pansy.
As I walked through the silent castle, every shadow stood out: After all, in the depths of darkness, a closet could be a figure, and a mirror, a face.
But the real shock came when I discovered that it also could be in reverse: When I walked passed a seemingly tranquil wardrobe and it sneezed.
On pure instinct, I pulled out my wand and pointed it straight at the figure.
“Stupefy—” I started, ready to follow up with a torrent of other hexes and curses, when the figure shouted, “Expelliarmus!” and with a burst of red light, my wand flew out of my hand, clattering to the floor.
The sky outside rumbled with thunder. Lightning flashed.
“Give. It. BACK!” I screamed at the boy, outraged at my sudden defeat. I was usually top of my class, a fact that caused even more trouble, and I didn’t like being outsmarted this quickly.
“Shh!” He muttered. “Do you want Professor McGonagall after us?”
I clamped my mouth shut. I hadn’t realized how loud I was, but now I knew that it was a miracle that Filch hadn’t caught us yet.
“Sorry,” He whispered. “I was just protecting myself. Here:”
He reached down and picked up my wand, handing it to me.
“Who are you?” I asked curiously.
“Neville. Neville Longbottom.”
My eyes widened. It was just my luck to bump into someone who’s parents—
“And who are you?”
I bit my lip.
“Aquila.” I said truthfully.
“Aquila…?” He questioned pointedly.
“I’m sorry!” I blurted out, my voice rising higher and shriller with each word. “I’m really, really sorry. I couldn’t have stopped it, that wasn’t my fault, I know that you’ll hate me for it, and you really have every right to, of course, but—”
“Hold on a minute,” Neville interrupted, bemused. “What?”
“Lestrange!” I yelled at him, and burst into tears.
Neville jumped so hard it would have been comical if I had not been crying my eyes out. He just stood there, frozen, staring at me.
“I—I’m so so—sorry,” I muttered, then turned, and raced down the corridor.
“Wait!” He called after me, but I was long gone, running past portraits, down flights of stairs, and away, away from everyone. The storm outside grew, and rain started to fall, sheets and sheets of gray rain, the clouds booming with thunder.
I was running blindly, running, running—
I found myself in front of a blank stonewall. I leaned against it, breathing hard. Finally, I straightened, and faced the wall.
“Cunning and sly.”
The door opened, and I went in.
The common room was deserted now. I went over to the hearth, studying the flames dancing wildly in the fireplace.
I sat down on one of the armchairs by the fire, still mesmerized by the raging flames. When my eyelids finally fluttered close, the image of them was still burned into my mind.
Flames.
Fire.
Chaos.
A hysterical laugh came into my dream consciousness, roaring with dark humor. The flames turned black as the laughter continued, smoke rising everywhere, suffocating me. Just as I couldn’t stand it anymore, the flames slowly cleared away from my vision, revealing a dais and woman.
She was tall, with long and wavy dark hair cascading down her back. Her features were sharp, with a face that once might have been stunningly beautiful, but was marred with pride and arrogance and a lack of care. Her skin was tinged gray, and her eyes—
Her eyes were coal black. But there was more to it than that. It was pure black, but it seemed to have a depth to it that no description could fully capture.
The way the woman’s eyes bored straight into me was creepy. She herself was creepy. She shook me up even worse than anything else had, this woman with her uncanny resemblance to me—
“Mom?” I whispered, not daring to believe it.
She did not smiled.
“Aquila, my daughter,” Bellatrix Lestrange said coldly. “A disappointment to the noble heir of Black. A softhearted girl.”
My eyes were stinging. My own mother was calling me a disappointment?
“I’ll try harder,” I said in earnest. “I’ll do whatever it takes. I’ll be a true Slytherin. I’ll be a true Black—”
My voice trailed off.
“Black? Not-Not Lestrange?”
She ignored my question. She took a step towards the dais, and lifted something from its surface. Something sharp.
Bellatrix turned to me, and held the object out to me, a question in her steely dark eyes: Will you take it?
I stepped forward and accepted it with both hands.
A dagger, still tucked inside its sheath.
“Sometimes you don’t need a wand; you need a weapon,” Bellatrix told me quietly. “A last resort.”
Then she smiled, maniacal humor dancing in her sable eyes, and I realized that the woman staring back at me was crazy. She had murdered crowds and tortured millions.
And I didn’t care. It was utterly insane, but I simply didn’t care anymore.
I was done with stepping down. I was going to start stepping up.
“Good,” Bellatrix purred, smiling wider. “Good.”
I smiled back.
Then someone was shaking my shoulder.
“Remember!” Bellatrix said urgently. “Remember that we are all proud descendents of—”
“Get UP, Lestrange!” Someone screeched, roughly shaking me.
I jolted awake, breathing hard. It had been a dream. All just a dream.
I suddenly noticed an object in my hands. A dagger, still tucked inside its silver sheath.
I froze.
“So. Did you find Draco, or what?” Pansy yelled at me.
I stared at her, not really listening.
“W-what?” I mumbled.
Pansy rolled her eyes.
“I. Don’t. Have. The. TIME FOR THIS!” She shouted. “TELL ME: DID YOU FIND DRACO?”
Then she did something even worse. She hit me, hard, across the face.
I sprang up from the chair, Bellatrix’s words pounding through my head.
A disappointment…
…Softhearted..
…Sometimes… You need a weapon…
On pure instinct, I swiftly unsheathed the dagger and threw it at Pansy. My aim was perfect.
The black dagger soared through the air, straight at Pansy. Her eyes widened, he mouth open to scream, but she never got the chance. The dagger lodged in her throat, and she fell to her knees, staring in horror at me.
“Too late to apologize now, Pansy,” I told her mildly. “Maybe in the afterlife, perhaps?”
I stepped forward, and dislodged the bloodied dagger from her throat. Pansy crumpled to the floor, lifeless and unmoving.
I ripped a piece of fabric from the hem of her robes, and wiped the dagger clean with it.
It was a thin blade, with jagged edges and a cruel point. Some sort of ancient words were inscribed at the borders.
I squinted hard, and the words rearranged themselves.
“A blade forged for the legacy of…” I read, trying to catch the last few words, but they were too faded to catch.
I threw the bloodstained rag into the fire, and turned to Pansy.
“Evanesco,” I muttered, and she disappeared.
Suddenly, the horror of what I’d done forced itself upon me, and I stumbled back into the armchair, sinking down into it.
I’d just killed a fellow student, a crime that would definitely not be overlooked.
I took a deep breath, calming myself, and stood.
I walked over to one of the ornate mirrors in the common room. A girl with dark hair and frightened eyes stared back out at me. I forced myself to calm down, to lock away the horror, and the girl in the mirror did the same. I readjusted my features until I was happy with what I saw:
What I saw was a young woman with long and wavy dark hair, and intent blue eyes. But there was more to it than that. It was pure blue, but it seemed to have a depth to it that no description could fully capture.
I smiled, and the same maniacal glee filled me.
I was a woman worthy of Slytherin: A girl worthy of her mother.
