No I think Harry should have been in the ministry, where he was, because remember, he always wanted to be an Auror, and so ended up as one. Aurors are part of the Ministry, and Harry is the head of the department of Aurors and so got his dream job but is also high up in the Ministry. Best of both.

I forgot he was the head of the Aurors. I thought he was the head of some other department

Yeah Harry is head of Aurors, Ron works as an Auror and Hermione works as the head of magical law enforcement. EDIT: Isn't Hermione actually the minister of magic in the cursed child?

Also on a side note, I think that the cursed child was a horrible book, especially since it was in playscript form. I had no idea what was going on.

SPOILER ALERT!! I don't think it was horrible. But I agree with Drunken_Sailor and cheese-duck. It wasn't the same. Probably because it focuses on a different set of main characters and a very different basic storyline from the other books. It was also four years of Albus's life (give or take) instead of one like the original seven. It was still a good book, though, in my opinion.

I read the Cursed Child again just a few days ago, and I think I know one reason why it lost kind of the magical-feeling. Since it is in script form, there is not a whole ton of description of the settings- just a few adjectives separated by commas. In the regular HP books, especially the first book, there is vivid description of everything, such as Hogwarts, which makes it feel more magical, and you can imagine it as if you were there.
Also, the format is a lot different which changes it a lot. The way characters talk and are described are different. For example-
Play-written form- Hermione: (with anger) How could you say that?
Story-written form- “How could you say that?” Hermione cried, anger stirring in her eyes.

Yeah. I like the description in the original books, it doesn't feel as magical. In the script, there is too much emphasis on the words, and there is nothing about the setting, so you have to imagine what all the settings are like.

Yeah. Of course, there's nothing wrong with imagination, but it helps to have some input from the book.
