Two problems with that:

A: We clearly change the title when saying we want members
B: If you don't bother to even see what your wanted team is doing, the only reason you want to join is to get credit - you'd actually care if you read what they were doing.

That is amusing, and I do agree. I also have to say, as I did before, that it never says anywhere that you can't apply. The application form also implies that we are allowing new members. I think people have a tendency to not ask and instead simply do.
