Onion Skin
I was thinking an onion skin feature would be good for Scratch animators! Maybe it should be optional, like an option in the top right corner.

I am unfamiliar with the term “onion skin”. Can you explain it so I, and other users, will fully know what it does? Thanks! I was thinking an onion skin feature would be good for Scratch animators! Maybe it should be optional, like an option in the top right corner.

“Onion skin” is an animation feature. Basically, it will show your previous frame in a transparent version on the next frame, so that you could trace it. My only problem with just colouring the lineart red and tracing that is that we can't do bases, which is where you draw parts of the body and then trace over that. In onion skin, any edits you make to the previous frame appears in the next frame, no matter when you make the edits.
