How do you make a timer?

Hello everyone! I have a question: How do you make a timer? Please give me a script or project. If I find it helpful or fun, I will follow you. Yes everyne, I KNOW there is a timer block, I just don't know how to do it.

Huh. Anyways, to make a timer, you make a time variable, then say,

when green flag clicked
set [ time] to [time wanted here]
forever
change [ time] by (-1)
end

You would have to have a wait block or it would go down at the frames per second time causing it be a lot faster.

For the first quote, “what does the quote button do?” you should have put it in the questions about scratch forum. Also, I'm just trying to help the person who said the sound block that it's not okay to spam. I'm just trying to help both of you know how the forums are used.

Don't forget the delay.
If you want it to stop at 0, change the forever block to a repeat until time = 0

You could use the “current day of the week” block.
