It kinda depends. However, I'd suggest you probably don't add gambling — children as young as 5 or 6 could come across it and get in trouble by their parents. You might want to ask an ST member, though, just to be sure.

As long as it's not real money yes I've seen a few slots
Projects before

Kind of. I don't know about just random gambling projects, but I've seen a gambling game before that was actually meant to discourage gambling, because it demonstrated how against you the odds were. If I remember correctly, I believe it was front-paged, but don't take my word for that.

Depends on where you live.
You see, in Europe, any game with gambling gets 12+. That's why games like Super Mario 64 DS and Pokemon Platinum were censored there. But if you live in the United States, the rating systems actually look at context.

Yes, I think it was paddle2see* who made it, and griffpatch made a slot machine, you may have to ask the scratch team for permission though.

It depends. If it is just a little mini game where you can't even tell it is gambling then yes.

I think gambling games are okay if they use fake currencies. I've seen some simulated gambling games on this site.

So if it's virtual money, yes, it's allowed.

sure it may be allowed, but you might want to reconsider your project if a main element of it is teaching bad habits like gambling to children.
