I am pretty sure that it takes longer for the person to type the message then for it to be sent. No support.

I know how you feel. That's why I think the Scratch Team should come up with a better way of communication on Scratch… Real-time chat! So you don't have 40-minute short conversations because you have to refresh the page. This will help many scratchers wanting to do collaborations or just simply see how someone is doing.

NOTE: Don't suggest a website off of Scratch unless the ST(Scratch Team) says it is okay with them to talk there. Otherwise from what I can tell it is against the community guidelines because it is un-moderated or not moderated in the way that the ST would like.

This will not be private chat. Just instant updating.

I think the most that the Scratch Team can do is make comment sections automatically refresh every 30 seconds or so (which you can turn off in the settings if you have limited bandwidth or something).

Why do I even get this message when I share Google Docs links to documents that only I can even comment on, not even with link-sharing to others in my domain?

Also, maybe Scratch could use the email addresses connected with the account to run FaceTime or Skype on a special Scratch link without making the email addresses visible.

But most cases with a collaboration you ask yes or no questions. (or similar short answer)
