If you'd like to see a project's internal code, then all you need to do is:

• Download a project to your computer
  
• Replace .sb2 with .zip
  
• Unzip the project
  
• Open the folder and go to project.json
  

There's the code! Unless you're familiar with json code, though, I recommend that you stay with Scratch's script editor.
