Custom Locations!

I'm suggesting that if say, someone wants to change their location to, say, Eagleland, but they can't. Locations could be reportable, also.

I also think there should be a character limit, to prevent users from doing this:

great idea for if some countries arent yet in the system (Such as South Sudan)

The one issue I can think of is that it might encourage people to be too specific with their location, which can count as sharing personal information. Hopefully a warning message would be enough to stop this. Also, the character limit would stop people putting their full address.

Yeah, and if they do do that, someone could always report them.

Yeah but we seriously need a character limit. That seems like it would take a long time to say.

This is the problem. It will no longer become about locations, and will just be gibberish. So we need to have a “Not actual location” option in the report list. Aside from that, support.

But that's a real place right? If it was then it would stay up since it was a real place. (The ST would make sure the reports were legitimate obviously)
If it's not a real place, why do we need it?

Eagleland is not a real place. It is a location in Earthbound.

I'm pretty sure the ST won't add that. They NFEd my “change your location to NO” project just because it interferes with their location statics. That's also a reason of why isOnline got banned.

Well, how about you need to put in an actual location (from a list of locations) at account creation, and then you can change it, so it doesn't interfere with their statistics.
