By alternative do you mean a different version of the same backstory, or another part of the story?

If you mean another version of the backstory, I'm afraid not. I'd like to keep it simple and I wouldn't feel right choosing one over the other.

But you can have a writing assignment for the first level.(There are two types of writing, One that the players will read through before you start the game and one that the players play through. Basically the second one is the game script. So your assignment would be the game script for the first level, if you want it.).

I see it now. It's good, but I'm afraid it won't do.

You're art's good, but I'm afraid the style won't fit with this particular game.
Would you like to be a writer, or a programmer or a sound designer(We need one of those).
If your hearts set on doing art, I'm sure I can find something for you to design, just not the trees I'm afraid.
How about the, strange, ancient cave designs that will be needed later in the game?
