Animated GIF Avatar Froze on First Frame Indefinitely When Promoted from New Scratcher to Scratcher

My browser / operating system: Windows NT 10.0, Chrome 55.0.2883.87, Flash 24.0 (release 0)

I just got the notification to get promoted to Scratcher status, but after I got promoted, I saw my GIF had frozen on the first frame. Pretty annoying. It happened just now.

Scratch has experienced a lot of database lag the last few days. There seems to be a problem with project thumbnails reverting to previous versions, including the initial version with the scratch cat in the center of a white stage.

Honestly I'm not sure what's going on, but there is a variety of other problems including cloud data not working at all, downtime, slow response times, high error rates, mostly happening when the user initiates an action that saves a new version of a thumbnail on the server. It looks like there's an issue with the internal file system of the scratch website.

Thank you for your help. My avatar was not reverted to a previous one though, it just froze on the first frame of the gif. It's probably related though.
