Yes. Civil war didn't have many standalone movie qualities, it all felt like it was part of a larger movie. It is technically in in the trilogy, but it still needed some standalone qualtities.

Does anyone watch Agents of Shield? If so do you ship FitzSimmons? (Please no spoilers I just started the 3rd season. I think I'm on episode 9.)

Nope, I'm not super excited for Homecoming. I'M BEYOND EXCITED!! It's just geeky cool to think about how comic-accurate Spidey's costume is, and between the Spidey-signal, the web-wings, and the transforming eyes, I can't believe that it's even a Marvel Movie, especially after the standards they've been setting.

And don't get me started on the mechanized Vulture…

I would have to agree. It is amazing.

I feel like the Marvel guidance will allow Spidey to bloom and flourish into a great series. Both of the sets of prior films their pros and cons, and Homecoming seems as if they'll take elements from both.
