What can you tell me about the series and how to get into it… as a person who is not normally into shows like this? Because it's kind of important. :C

Once Upon a Time is a show where all of the fairy tale characters are real- Rumplestiltskin, Snow White, Prince Charming, Ariel, Pinnochio, ect. They were put under a curse, forgetting who they really were. They lived in a small town called Storybrooke, Maine, until the Savior came. The Savior is called Emma Swan, and she is the daughter of Prince Charming and Snow White. To learn more: Click here to see a summary
To get into it? My advice is if you know people that have the series on DVD, loan it from them and watch it. If not, borrow it from the library. If you want to start watching ASAP, download the watch ABC app and search season 1 episode 1 on YouTube ( it has Spanish subtitles but everything is in English). Watch the episodes of the ABC app, and you can start watching on Sunday nights at 8:00.

How to get into it? Hmm… Peter Pan isn't who you think, Regina ( the evil queen from Snow White ) has tortured and killed but feels no regret for a specific reason, Little Red Riding Hood is a werewolf, Rumplestiltskin has a son, and people rip out each others hearts in the literal sense. If that alone doesn't get you interested, watch the first episode or one on the ABC app. They explain what is going on as you watch, so you don't need to know too much.

I love that show! I sorta got bored on season 2 and I don't think they should've stretched to a third season. I still want to see season 3 but I'm just gonna wait til it's out on Netflix because I haven't seen one episode of season 3.
