About the requests forum

The request forum is a place where you can ask for something and other people can make it for you (like you might want a logo, so you could order one in a shop or create a ‘New Topic’ explaining what you want your logo to look like and if anyone could do it for you). Also in the request forum you can set up your own shop where you choose what products you would like to sell.

Creating a shop

If you want to create your own shop all you need to do it go on the ‘request’ forum and look to the top right, and you will see a blue button saying ‘New Topic’. Then all you need to do is write what you sell and if you are hiring or not (if you are hiring I would recommend making a ‘Job application’ or just say that you are hiring in the title or FP (First Post))

Joining a shop

If you want to just join a shop instead of creating one all you need to do is post if you can join and what you are good at or if there is a job application (normally located on the FP), just copy and paste that and then fill it out, then it is recommended to follow the thread. The ‘Follow Discussion’ button is at the top right of a topic and if you click it you will get notified whenever there is a post in the shop so you can get to orders quicker (so it basically notifies you in your mail)

Ordering a product not using a shop

If you want to order something but not order it in a shop just create a new topic, put the title as the product you want (e.g. Logo needed) and then explain what you would like it to look like (e.g. I would like a logo that has a panda on with a bamboo background etc)

What not to make a topic on in the request forum

If you do not have a request you just want to show something off you should go to the ‘Show and Tell’ (SaT) forum and create your topic there so remember to be careful of what forum you put your topic in, if your not sure what forum it should go to just comment below and say the purpose of the topic and I will get back to you as soon as possible

FAQ on shops

Q: If I am making someone a banner or a form of art, how do I give it to them?
A: You can upload it as an ‘Image link’ using cubeupload or Tiny Pic (there are more then just them they are just some examples of what you can use) and with those image hosting websites you just click ‘Select image’ then you select your image, after that you just click ‘Start Upload’ and then you copy the image link, send it too the scratcher that oredred it and then there is your completed and delivered order

Q: How do I add someone to be a member of my shop?
A: It is a lot easier then what scratchers might think, all you need to do is ‘edit’ your FP and then add them to the FP (if you have a section of where all your members are just type there name in that) and you are done

Q: What is a ‘bump’?
A: A ‘bump’ is something that you post in the comments of a topic saying ‘bump’ or any comment bumps it. What the bump does is it puts your topic at the top of all the other topics in the request forum (below the stickies) and it keeps it there untill another topic gets a bump afterwards, and the point of bumping your topic is that it is more visible as it is at the top so more scratchers will see it (although only bump once a day)
