Hello everyone!
Some of you (on this scratch project have requested a newer tutorial on how to make a project with your voice in it, because the scratch website has updated.

I have never had the older scratch before so I don't really know what it's like (I mean I “have” it on a program, but don't use it that much, er, I got it afterwards for reasons).
The way you do it is really easy, so let's get on with that.

Btw, this is NOT a question!
I don't want answers unless you correct me or something like that.

The Tutorial
How to make a project with your voice in it

First of all, you need to start creating your project.
Here's how, it's pretty simple.

• Go to the scratch website
  

• Click “create”
  

Then, you should be in the project creator.

Next, you need to click the “sounds” tab next to “costumes” which is next to “scripts”.
They are all at the top.

Click the microphone icon close to where the tabs were.

Next, click the circle in the section next to the microphone icon.
Speak whatever you want to say, and then click the square next to the circle.

Now, click the scripts tab (I already told you where it was, but again, it's at the top).
When you are there, click the Events tab (which is in the “script dragging window”, as I call it), and then drag out a

when green flag clicked

block, and now, attach a

play sound [ v] until done

to the first block you put down.

Okay, now just click the \/ in the block you just put down, and then select “recording1”.

And, you're done!
Just name your project and publish it!
