Hi everyone,
I have a Wacom Tablet and it is not working on scratch. I mean, it can move around, but it cannot click on the different buttons on scratch. I wanted to use it for drawing!!! I am doomed!! Does anyone know what is happening??? Or is it happening to other people too??!!! The next day I brought in a Bamboo (also Wacom brand) and it does not work either. Then I figured out this is just not working on scratch, because I would go to other websites and it worked just fine. Also, the same tablets worked before when I used them, so I don't know why it is suddenly not working right now. I am desperate so please help!!!

I'm having the same problem! I was trying to use my bamboo to draw on a project, but it didn't work! I can move anywhere else on the site, but not in the projects.

It appears that many Chrome users are having this same problem, and the issue has not been solved yet, unfortunately.

It is the same with me! While the problem is being fixed, should I use another browser??

As they say in the post Bumblefly linked:

The pen works 100% in the same Flash .swfs when using Firefox and IE. So maybe Chrome is the culprit?

For now it looks like you'll need to use Firefox. (You might also need to download Flash, too, since Firefox uses a kind of Flash that Chrome doesn't use.)

YEAH!!! me too! its completely stupid and random D:< i can't explain it… i feel like everytime i use my cintiq a new problem arrises and i have to waste my time on it for usually 20 minutes but sometimes hours or days. this one just started happening to me a few weeks ago, but it was fine before that! and this was EXACTLY right after my friend fixed another problem for me. i think it has to do with calibrating your pen because that was what the problem was about. what happened was that my cursor was all messed up and when he did the thing to fix it, my scratch got all messed up! but the question is, WHY SPECIFICALLY SCRATCH INSIDE PROJECTS?! i am constantly researching though, so ill let u guys know what happens!

The Scratch editor currently does not work with tablet pens because the editor uses the Flash player. Chrome has a bug where tablet pens cannot interact with anything that uses Flash. For now, I'd recommend using another browser such as Firefox or Internet Explorer.

YES THANK U! i use a school laptop so i dont have flash… guess ill have to download it!
