ScratchCast (Scratch for ChromeCast)
Well, why not? After all, it would be useful. I'd probably never use it, but with all of the reasons mentioned in previous posts and the OP, it deserves to be added. I can't add anything more to this suggestion.

This already exists if you use Chrome.

And I'm pretty sure there are extensions for Firefox and other browsers.

ScratchCast (Scratch for ChromeCast)
If I recall correctly, one of my Scratch teachers actually used both AirPlay and Chromecast to cast on to 2 different screens. One of the 2 froze more (which if I recall correctly was Chromecast). Support for Chromecast, no support for AirPlay (as it's stable enough)

I probably wouldn't use this, but it would be cool to see!

Addressing your opinion with the HDMI cable:
It's one cable. Your target image display device can have it plugged in all the time. Then, you plug it into your computer, and set the input to HDMI.
Put simply:
It's not a lot of cables, and it's more cost-effective than ChromeCast.

Well I only have an IPad, and computer to use, so I can’t plug it into the tv or anything. I do have chrome cast though, and I could use that. So I say a big yes to scratchcast!

Please [ make it a thing]
