It's getting curated on the 26th, I believe. One of the reasons I titled it ‘Winter Swan’ and not ‘Christmas Swan’ is so that it would be open to being curated all through winter.

If it's not too late, I can help out or just be backup or moral support XDMoral support would be amazing.

XD actually, if you're around right now, I could still use a few more story/poem things. I can stretch what we have and there shouldn't be a problem, but I'd prefer not to have to do that.

ok, I will find us 3 more facts, (bringing the total up to 24 facts, one for each day) before 4 o'clock, which is when I go to church for christmas, and expect that I won't be availible afterward because that is when I am at a christmas party.

Ok, here's some facts (warning: I'm bad at englishInteresting facts! I like the advent candle ones. Congrats on the curation! That's really exciting!)
1. Christianity is the most common religion in the world at about a third of the population, (thats about 2333333333 people!)
2. Christianity came from Judaism originally
3. The mistletoe used at christmas is actually a parasitic plant that grows on other trees. It has white berries and the plant is poisonous.
4. The 4 advent candles are 3 purple and 1 rose (pink), in order of lighting, these colored candles stand for 1. Prayer (Purple) 2. Penance (Purple) 3. Rejoicing (Rose) and 4. Preparation (Purple).
I will have some more here in a short time
Also, I've got great news, I suggested my project (for 12DoC) to be curated, and the user acceptedso on a day ranging from january 9th to 16th (I think), I will be on the front page for the first time ever!

Here's the last three
5. The holly leaves and berries that are shown during Christmas are part of a tree that is spiny and poisonous. (yes, this is similar to fact 3)
6. Reindeer are actually a real kind of deer that is called caribou in north america, they are native to parts of the arctic.
7. Contrary to popular belief, Christmas trees are usually spruce trees or fir trees, not pine trees.
The advent candle fact is one fact

Fun facts?
- Telling scary ghost stories is an old Christmas Eve tradition that has died out in the past century.
- A large part of Sweden's population watches Donald Duck cartoons every Christmas Eve since 1960.
- On Christmas 1914, during World War 1, troops from Germany and the UK laid down their weapons and celebrated Christmas together. They exchanged gifts and even played a game of soccer together.
- In 1867, a Boston industrialist heard Charles Dickens read A Christmas Carol and was so moved he closed his factory on Christmas Day and gave every one of his employees a turkey.
- An artificial Christmas tree would have to be reused for more than 20 years to be “greener” than buying a fresh-cut tree annually.
- We frequently abbreviate Christmas as X-mas because of ancient tradition. X is the Greek letter “chi” which is an abbreviation for the word “Christ” in Greek.
- Given the different time zones, Santa has 31 hours to deliver gifts, but his reindeer really have to fly, since that means visiting 823 homes per second.
- The year 2016 marks the 37th year that the National Chanukah Menorah ― the world’s largest ― in Washington, D.C., will be lit in a ceremony televised internationally.
- The U.S. Postal Service delivers 20 billion cards and packages between Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.
- The first candy cane dates back to 1670 in Germany. Today more than 1.76 billion candy canes are made for the holidays, enough to stretch from Santa Claus, Indiana, to North Pole, Alaska, and back again 32 times.
Here are some facts:
1. Norwegian scientists have hypothesized that Rudolph’s red nose is probably the result of a parasitic infection of his respiratory system.
2. Each year more than 3 billion Christmas cards are sent in the U.S. alone.
3. Christmas trees usually grow for about 15 years before they are sold.
4. All the gifts in the Twelve Days of Christmas would equal 364 gifts.
5. Each year more than 3 billion Christmas cards are sent in the U.S. alone.
6. Early illustrations of St. Nicholas made him out to be a stern symbol of discipline rather than the jolly, overweight elf that children know today.
7. Telling scary ghost stories is an old Christmas Eve tradition that has died out in the past century
That's all!
1. Christianity is the most common religion in the world at about a third of the population, (thats about 2333333333 people!)
2. Christianity came from Judaism originally

If I counted right, then there are 24 facts here

That should put me at around 19, since I'm doing a few facts on one sheet, but I should be able to find the rest of the stuff on my own. Now to just finish all this coding…
