Scratch and Google Cardboard/VR

VR is cool. But scratch doesn't official support it. But it's still possible. Any game with mouse controls can be easy to port to vr. other games such as platform games are pointless. unless you use the mouse to scroll instead of your character. that world be cool. Here is a tutorial on how to play games that might work on vr from scratch. on your google cardboard.

What you need:
1. a phone. (I'm using an iPhone 5)
2. a google cardboard vr. (I'm using the Utopia360)
3. a Windows computer (sorry Mac, Linux, and ChromeOS.)
4. Intugame VR (must be installed on your computer and phone)
5. a Controller
6. a VR compatible project (I made an example project)

How to do:
First download the SB2 file. Then go to junebeetle's SB2 to SWF converter. Convert the file. make sure the width is 480 and the height is 360. once you got the swf file. now you need to download Flash player 11.
Extract it, look for the folder ending in debug. The look the flashplayer11_2r202_235_win_sa_debug_32bit.exe file. open it, and go to file, open, and select the swf file. Now open up Intugame on your computer (if it's installed, if not install it now). Now open up Intugame on your phone, click on play, and put your phone into your headset. . If your game has more controls then just the mouse. you need to download a program called AntiMicro. this will let you bind the controller with keyboard keys. The example project I'm using uses space to roll. so I made the controller so if I hit the Square button (or the x button for xbox controllers) I do a roll.

Info/Troubleshoot
The move the mouse, you move your head. Intugame isn't free. after ten minutes, you have to pay 10$ for the full version. If you want fullscreen, in flash player hit F11

Any Questions? Reply to this thread and I'll answer them

I tried the old way, worked great. What do you mean by a controller for the new way?

The controller was used for the old way too!

It's just in case you have more controls then just the mouse. So on my example project you used space to roll.
You need to map a controller to space (or what ever key you need) so that scratch thinks you are pressing space.

Since you look around in VR, it's hard to press the keyboard. That's why I map a controller

Thanks for your interest in VR. I tried Gagagu but it doesn't support android, and it lags on my PC. That's why a prefer intugame. I've never heard of key sticks. it looks easier to use, but I don't trust software with a paid version

i don't get it. i tried the flappy bird and there was only one view. For 3D using Google Cardboard you need two side-by-side views, one for each eye.

Intugame does that for you
