I'm just wondering what the difference is between the two.

When you're a manager, you can make changes to the studio title and description. You can add projects and add curators. You can also promote and delete curators. But if you're a curator, the only thing you can do is add projects.

Managers can invite curators, change the icon, change the name, change the description, and remove people from the studio (but not the owner). I think that's it, but I'm not sure.

Curators can't do those things.

Curators can add projects to a studio (although some studios let anyone do that)..
Managers have more permissions, the can remove projects, change the title, description and image, and invite, remove or promote people in the studio.

Managers can change the title,thumbnail and description along with inviting and removing curators and managers.
Curators only have the ability to be promoted to manager

But I'm a manager of a studio (not host) and I can't do those things only the host can ☹️

That's because in 2021 there was an update so only studio hosts can edit studio descriptions and titles.
