Do something so you don't get security alerts on Internet Explorer and on Windows when you try to go on Scratch
My browser / operating system: Windows XP, Chrome 49.0.2623.112, Flash 21.0 (release 0)
If you try to go on Scratch on Internet Explorer it will show this thing saying that there is a problem with this website's security certificate. Also when I say this website I'm talking about Scratch. Also if I do the offline editor I get a security alert. I think that something should be done about these things so people don't think that Scratch is bad because they don't have any other browsers. Some people also might not want to download things in case they get a virus. I don't know if it does security alerts only on Windows and Internet Explorer but something should be done about these stuff. Sorry if this is a duplicate topic. The security alert is also saying that the certificate was for a different website.

You have XP?!? That software is archaic. I have win7 on my desktop, using same chrome as you, and I have no issue. My browser / operating system: Windows XP, Chrome 49.0.2623.112, Flash 21.0 (release 0)

Oh also, don't worry about IE. It's terrible; most people only use it to download another browser.

Someone might not have a different browser and then someone tells them about Scratch and then they do Scratch on Internet Explorer and they get a security alert and then they think whoever told them about Scratch was trying to trick them. I also get a security alert when I do the Scratch offline editor. If you try to go on the Scratch offline editor on Windows 7 you would also probably get a security alert. Also someone might not want to download things in case they get a virus. You have XP?!? That software is archaic. I have win7 on my desktop, using same chrome as you, and I have no issue. Negative on both accounts. If people don't want to download an improved alternative to IE, then they're too paranoid to be on the internet.Someone might not have a different browser and then someone tells them about Scratch and then they do Scratch on Internet Explorer and they get a security alert and then they think whoever told them about Scratch was trying to trick them. If they don't want to download something better than Internet Explorer, the least secure and laggiest browser in the universe, because they're paranoid about viruses, then they shouldn't be on the Internet as IE is more likely to get you viruses than any other browser I've seen. Why?Negative on both accounts. As for the actual suggestion, it sounds like you need to update your OS and web browser

First of all, git gud. Windows XP (And certainly without any of the service packs) is ancient and is no longer supported. Secondly, you're also using an outdated version of IE, so your problem is very simple: you're using a version of IE that is not patched with the required updates to be able to get security certificates.
Thirdly, just click “I trust this website” and you're off.
