How similar will ScratchJr. be to Scratch?
There is a new Scratch related thing that runs on a tablet, but I wanted to know if it was similar to Scratch. Could you program? Or is it just a learning app? (I know it's for smaller ages)
Oh and it's not released yet…

Taken from the ScratchJr website:
It is an exciting project that is going to be beneficial to young children although I have had year 2 children creating their first program in Scratch with ease, and snapping blocks together to create their sequences. Before Christmas, they were drawing in Vector mode.
I still see the need for ScratchJr though
ScratchJr is a developmentally appropriate programming language for children 5 to 7 years old. Children can create their own animated stories, interactive collages and games.
