Try to convert the .org file into .wav or .mp3 using an online converter.

Scratch doesn't support .org, they do support .edu, .gov, .com, .net, .it, and .mit. I hope this helps!

Those aren't formats or files, they are suffixes based on the website type. Scratch doesn't support .org, they do support .edu, .gov, .com, .net, .it, and .mit. I hope this helps!
.org music files won't be supported. Use a third party converter to convert the file to a .wav or .mp3 format if possible.

I know, it's a joke. Those aren't formats or files, they are suffixes based on the website type.

But org is not the sound file type. They just called it org-maker, but there is no sound file type that ends with .org
Download a sound file from there and then look at the file name to see what the suffix is. If it is mp3 or wav then you can use it here. If it is ogg, then you can't.
Read this for more info about sound files. Notice there is NO org file type there.

You haven't done anything to the file except for changing the extension name. You need an actual 3rd party system that can translate the files for you. Actually they do save as org files I tried renaming them to wav but didn't work for anything goo.gl/Tb8wKY

Renaming does nothing. Audio files have different file formats. If the suffix doesn't match the format, then the file will not work unless the program using it is able to determine what the format is without using the suffix.
Does Windows Media Player play your org audio files?

Okay, so your ORG files are special sound files that are used by the game Cave Story, and you want to use them in Scratch.
One option would be to figure out some way to save that ORG file as a WAV or MP3 file. WAV and MP3 are sound formats that Scratch can use – they're pretty popular sound formats (which do [did] people have, MP3 players or AIFF players?
).
I don't have Org Maker, and I don't have the right kind of computer to run it, either, so I can't tell you for sure a way to do it, but as you can see, on the Cave Story forums, there's quite a lot of results!
Another option, which was mentioned in some of those forum threads and looks to be your only real option, is to record your music while it's playing. There's all sorts of programs and ways of doing this, but keep in mind you'll want to have some way to make the sound output of your computer go into another “device” (that is, a special internal program used to give sound from your audio output to another program). Recording from your computer's microphone (if it has one) won't get you very good sound quality!
Try looking up “how can I record sound on my computer” or something along the lines of that on Google – you're sure to find something!
