Pirate Rankings (Acknowledgeable Jobs)
Captain - usually commands the ship and usually have power in battle but almost none among his crew. Only one per ship
Quartermaster - Main purpose is to distribute work, power, prize, and punishment. Only one per ship
First Mate - The captains most trusted pirate. This person is in second command and would assist or command the ship when captain is unable to do his duties. Only one per ship
Boatswain (Bos'n) - several skilled pirates whose main task is to keep the boat afloat or keep the crew in place. He would also keep the ship neat and tight. Like a Galleon ship size there would be this separate class but if the ship is small quartermaster would take this class.
Cabin Boy - Just a little boy (should be a boy but girl can work too) who is learning to be a pirate
Gunner - A pirate who is most effective at using cannons.
Powder Monkey - Usually the first rank to get when becoming a part of the crew. They assist other gunners and learn the ship basics. They're around 12 years old. If they survive they would get a position of more importance on the ship.
Sea Artist - No they don't paint seas. They are the ship's navigator. They master at using all sorts of equipments to tell directions and positioning. The best one can also tell where they are by just looking at the moon.
Carpenter - This pirate will try to keep the boat afloat by repairing holes and are really high in value
Pilot - Gives orders to not make the ship sink by crashing. A pilot would need to know the ship's draught and how wide the ship can turn.
Master - Describe the leader of a section.
Striker - Basically like a farmer. This person would also find herbs for medical purposes.
Surgeon - Also another valuable crew to the pirates. They also would get paid if they did not sign articles.

You may rp other roles until that role is taken in the same side.

Character name: Isaac Campo
Position: Gunner
Appearance: Moderately long black hair, medium height, green eyes, very tan skin, wears a sleeveless white shirt which is often very dirty, and cheap burlap pants, no shoes, and a nice red silk hat. Has many scars along his arms and torso.
Background: Isaac was born in one of the poorest villages in Spain. He got in his first fight when he was seven and lived for the chance to kill anything, but only if they deserved it for you see he is also a man of principle. By the age of 17 he became a master shot with the musket and eventually moved on to bigger and better things like cannons. He considers the pursuit of wealth to be meaningless unlike his twin brother whom although he feuded with he did respect. When he was murdered 2 months ago Isaac vowed vengeance on the scum that took his brother away. He wears his brother's hat as a tribute to this goal and even though he is 19 years old he believes he can take on the world.

Name: Mara Cooper
Position (not limited to the listed ones): First Mate
Appearance: wears a white blouse and bones corse, red leggings, black boots, and red headband. She also wears a strap that holds her side purse. She has a belt too and a pistol.
Background: Her name carries the one of the most successful pirates captains in history. She's fine just being the first mate.

Name: Andrea Clandestine
Position: Sea Artist
Appearance: Shoulder-length straight dark brown hair, light green eyes, pale skin, wears a cream colored blouse, dark green pants and heeled boots, along with fingerless gloves and a dark red scarf.
Background: Andrea grew up in a small British town by the ocean, and both her parents were wealthy and well-known. When she turned 17, her father wished for her to marry her cousin, but she refused. Her older brother James, who died when she was 14, taught her about the stars and how he wished that he could sail the ocean one day. A few weeks after her engagement to her cousin, her best friend Lillian died, leaving Andrea alone. The grief of the the two events dove her to the ocean, where she quickly learned the ways of a Sea Artist.

Backstory: Born to a prim and proper family, he was expected to become a sailor by the age of 12. He joined the British Navy, but decided to rebel, and bought his own ship, the beautiful White Tip.
