How about you make it to where scratchers can upload audio to the site and then you can attach an ID to it and if you want that audio in your program, you can just type the ID and it will play. Sort of like ROBLOX

Sorry, but why would this be used? And which websites would it take Audio IDs from? Newgrounds or something similar, I presume?
No support, there are already too many ways to get songs, and songs are not the top priority of a programming site.

Here's the idea in a little bit more understandable wording…
The user wants to be able to use Scratch as an audio hosting (is that the right word?) site. Basically, I'll upload a song and it will get an ID based on how many other songs there are. (Like projects) If anyone wants to use that audio, they simply plug in the ID and the audio will pop up.

I don't think there's enough room on the servers for all those songs, soooo….

How do you add song IDs? I still don’t understand!“Song IDs” as described in this suggestion currently do not exist (to my knowledge). This topic is merely a suggestion to add Song IDs.

I think all audio files on Scratch already have an ID: an md5 hash of the audio file. If two projects use the same audio file, I believe the servers store it only once because their hashes are the same

Here's the idea in a little bit more understandable wording…Exactly. Plus, Scratchers could upload songs that are inappropriate on unshared projects. Of course, the Scratch Team can remove those songs, but this suggestion really isn't specific enough. What would happen if there's duplicate songs(songs that are exactly the same and are copies of each other)? Song IDs would take too much unnecessary moderation. Therefore, no support.

It’s like you can just put id’s please do that but I’m trying to say if anybody can put the song that they like but they will have a code and you’ll need help for the Code
