HTTP extensions can only be used in the offline editor.
JS extensions can only be used on ScratchX.
People don't really do HTTP extensions much

I'm not sure exactly what you mean, but .sbx files can be imported into Scratch. However, all extension blocks show as undefined.

Probably not, unless the project is linked to on Scratch. Same goes for anything actually. Even a project (community guidelines only apply if you share it)

No, unless they're linked from Scratch. You could even make a .sb2 that violates the community guidelines if it wasn't on Scratch.

Hello,

I am a new SCRATCHER. My son learns language at school. We work together, we play with scratch on a level … beginner. We use Scratch OffLine on our PCs.

I have some programming experience. I have develloped a “small” software: an extension to communicate by network between Scratch off line. No configuration is necessary: automatic discovery, exchange of messages, mode publish-subscribe, return by words or messages …

I use the HTTP interface, the same used to connect various materials (and to my knowledge the only one to control these materials)

The performances between stations are quite suitable for a first jet.

I am waiting for a first feedback on this forum to know if this work can be useful to others.

Hi. I need help. I'm ussing Scratch Offline Editor for Mac and on more block category, only I have the button “Make a Block”, I don't have the button “Add an Extension”, that is my problem. Anybody know how to resolve it? Thanks

This is related only to official extensions, not experimental extensions. This question would make more sense in the Questions about Scratch forum

If you don't see the “Add an Extension” button, try waiting a couple weeks. Like this one time the same thing happened to me. The Cloud Variable checkbox did not show up until I waited a week.
