Hey everyone,

Recently a serious security issue was found with Flash Player on Windows. Adobe, the company that makes Flash, has issued an update to fix the problem.

If you have Flash 23.0.0.185 or earlier, you should update Flash Player, regardless of which OS you are using. Updating is especially important if you are a Windows (8.1 or 10) user, due to the context in which the security issue was discovered; you will need to run a Windows Update.

If you're using Firefox or Safari, go to https://get.adobe.com/flashplayer/ to update your Flash player. If you're using Chrome, you can get Chrome’s latest updates to update Flash player by simply updating Chrome to the latest version. If you're using Internet Explorer or Edge, Adobe suggests running a Windows Update to get the newest version of Flash.

Although the updates should be installed via Windows Update, here is the link to the Windows patch for this issue for additional information: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/3201860

I don't know if this was posted before, but to update chrome, create a new tab first. Then, click the 3 dots on the top right, which should open up a menu. Hover over HELP, click on about google chrome, and it should show you its updating. Finally, relaunch Chrome.

It's not too serious. As long as it doesn't have adware/malware, I'll be perfectly fine! Thank you!

Is it meant to be Flash 23.1? Because I'm not sure if the updates meant to be the current one.
