What does the stamp block do?

Okay, so this is basically the only pen I understand. I'm glad I do, because that means I can help!

So the stamp block basically clones the sprite, but in pen. Pretend that the sprite is a stamp, and pen is some ink. You dip the sprite in some ink, and stamp the picture onto the background. You might not understand that, so here's a better explanation:

Stamps are clones made of pen. So if you understand clones, you understand stamps. Here are the only differences:

Clones can be scripted, move, and do things.
Stamps cannot.

Clones can be anywhere on the stage.
Stamps must be on the background or other pen.

*Stamps may appear pixely or fuzzy/blurry.

For an example of a project that uses stamps, my project, Pizza Maker (link in signature), uses them. The toppings and pizza are all stamps.
Hope this helps!

Thanks for the help - but the thread is rather old. I doubt the topic owner is still looking for answers. I would suggest responding to the newer topics that still need to be answered.

For future reference, the stamp block basically produces an image of a sprite. (Think of it as how a stamp would work on a piece of paper - except that here it's the sprite that's being “stamped” onto a backdrop.)
