Umm, I don't know if this belongs here. But I have downloaded a beautiful monospace font and I want to import each letter as a costume. Any ideas on how to do it non-tediously?

Here's a crazy idea - turn the file into a GIF that flashes one letter at a time on the screen. This way, when you upload the GIF file to Scratch, each letter will automatically be assigned to a separate costume.
To turn the file into a GIF, though, you're still going to have to cut the original image (if all the letters of the font were contained within a single image) and do a lot of work.
So…it's not much different from manually creating each costume.
It's going to be rather tedious, whatever you do,, which is why most people just type their fonts in a separate program and then upload the image of the typed text to Scratch. Or, you can try searching up some font packs that other people have made?
