Drop Shadow Import Problems
Whenever I try to import a drop shadow into Scratch when I use Affinity Designer, it doesn't work. However, when I use Adobe Illustrator, I can get the drop shadows in fine (see featured project). Same thing happens with Inkscape and Autodesk Graphic (iPad version), too. I think it's some embed feature. Here are pictures:

Is there anyway to fix this?

Drop Shadow Import Problems
If I remember right, I saw somebody with the same problem a while ago and it turned out that Illustrator was actually turning the drop shadow into a bitmap image embedded into the vector while none of the other programs did that…
I could be wrong, however.
If I am right, I imagine the best way to fix it would be to see if there was a way to manually convert the drop shadow to an embedded bitmap in the software you are using.

How would you do this in Affinity?
EDIT: Yup, the drop shadow in the featured project is bitmap.
EDIT2: I tried making it a Gaussian Blur, rasterizing it, then re-exporting. Didn't work.

I have absolutely no idea, sorry. If I remember right, I saw somebody with the same problem a while ago and it turned out that Illustrator was actually turning the drop shadow into a bitmap image embedded into the vector while none of the other programs did that…

How would you do this in Affinity?

If you have the program that you used for your featured project, you could see if it would import the Affinity file correctly and then see if you could get it to export the Scratch-compatible file.

Drop Shadow Import Problems
SVG files come in several versions: 1.0. 1.1, 1.2 Basic, 1.2 Tiny, and 2.x
Scratch uses the version SVG 1.2 Tiny which is an option that Adobe Illustrator offers. In Inkscape I think it's called something else, but it is an option there also.
So all you have to do is see if Affinity Designer offers any options for exporting SVG files. If the options are like simple and advanced, then choose simple.
