my daughter wants to make a “movie” in scratch.
I think she is off to a great start!

Flicker is movie about a 12 year old girl named Skylark that at age 5, her parents mysteriously disappeared. The rest of the village she lived in never knew that Skylark's mom and dad had ever had a child so they boarded up the house soon after the parent's disappearance. And at age 5, Skylark was not sure if she should try to get out of the dark house or just stay in it without anyone knowing. For 4 months she thought about it, and then a large board from the shabby roof of her house fell and knocked her out for 2 whole years. once she was finally awake, she had made up her mind. She was going to stay quiet for her parent's sake. for 5 more years she just sat and slept in the solitude of the dark home. once she was 12, a group of men broke down the door for a search for anything valuable and they found skylark. She was almost blinded with the sun because after 7 years of being in pitch darkness the extreme light was AMAZING. She stayed with a young red haired widow named Bethany who asked her all the motherly questions possible and over time practically became Skylark's mom. So what this is all about is how much we take light for granted.

Thanks dad! I am working on the movie now and I think it should be out in a little wile. Maybe I will make a Flicker 2 but not until I am done with Flicker 1. Other characters besides Bethany and Skylark will be in the story. Other people such as William and Joseph. (you will figure out who they are in the movie)
