Firesage: Are—Are you sure? I think she would want to know right away!
Silentstar: Don’t question your leader. This is for the best, I promise.
Firesage: *Uncertainly* Yes, Silentstar
*Firesage walks out*
Firesage: Oh—uh, Sandyfire!
Sandyfire: Wait to tell me what?
Silentstar: *Walks out, aware that Sandyfire is waiting* Sandyfire, *dips head respectfully* I’m afraid we have some bad news…
Firesage: Your sister, Lightbreeze, has gone missing!

-Opens: Shot of clear blue sky. FLAMESTRIKE is running through a bright field, stalking a mouse, when suddenly, a dark shadow appears over the scene.-

FLAMESTRIKE: *ears prick, fur fluffs with distress*
-Shadows come nearer, when suddenly a bright light washes over, screen fades to white.-
-Screen fades back into scene, shows FLAMESTRIKE’S eyes shut, then slowly opening-

FLAMESTRIKE: *Looks up, eyes wide, then slowly calms down before shaking her fur* “It was a dream…Just a dream…Pull yourself together; dreams are for medicine cats and reckless kits.” Stretches, pads out of the den, and looks up at the sky “Not for Blazeclan’s new deputy.”

-EMBERSTAR pads out of den, approaches FLAMESTRIKE-
EMBERSTAR: “Good morning, Flamestrike”
FLAMESTRIKE: *Dips head* “Good morning, Emberstar. Shall I, um…”
-TIGERSPOTS enters-
TIGERSPOTS: *Tail twitching with amusement* “Organize a patrol?”
FLAMESTRIKE: *Embarrased* “Yeah, organize some hunting patrols.”
EMBERSTAR: “Actually, I’d rather have you take a border patrol.”
FLAMESTRIKE: “Really? The other clans have been pretty quiet this past moon…”
EMBERSTAR: *Shakes his head* “That’s not it. Your sister’s kit, Goldenpaw, she’s missing.”
TIGERSPOTS: “Not only her, but Greymoon as well!”
FLAMESTRIKE: *Shock* “Surely, you don’t think they’ve left the clan?”
EMBERSTAR: “No, but there’s a chance the other clans have … ‘seen’ them…”
TIGERSPOTS: “I’ll go with you on a patrol, if you want.”
FLAMESTRIKE: “Yes please.” Head low “No…not Goldenpaw…not Snowbird’s kit…”

Sandyfire: *shocked* WH-what!?
Firesage: We sent a patrol, but*bows head*…I’m sorry Sandyfire. I truly am.
Silentstar: If you want, you can take Sweetwater and Adderpaw with you to double check. I doubt you’ll find anything though.
Sandyfire: I—I’d prefer to look by myself if that’s okay. *turns away, tears brimming in her eyes*
Silentstar: I understand. But Sandyfire…
Sandyfire: *Looks up, upset*
Silentstar: Be careful. There's something out there, Lightbreeze didn't just wander off, I know it. If it's one of the other clans…
Firesage: *growling* Make sure FireClan respects their borders, and our cats
Sandyfire: *nods quickly, once* *gives a half smile* Perhaps it is FireClan who has kidnapped Lightbreeze
Silentstar: It's possible. I would suggest looking there first.
Sandyfire: But that would be intruding!
Silentstar: *gives a sly nod*
Sandyfire: *smirking, inside she is hopeful and confident that FireClan has stolen her sister* The leader's word is the Warrior Code…
Silentstar: And MoonClan never breaks the Warrior Code!
*Sandyfire, hopeful, walks out of camp and into the forest, towards the FireClan border*

*Gingersplash is standing in the Medicine cat den, quietly sorting herbs.*
Gingersplash: *mumbling* let’s see, Marigold, borage, tansy, coltsfoot…Great StarClan, where is Finchpaw with that Coltsfoot?
Ratface: *winces* Gah! My leg!
Gingersplash: *snaps irritably* be patient! As soon as Finchpaw returns with the herbs, we can treat your wounds.
Ratface: That darn fox cub…
Duskmoon: *burst into the den* Gingersplash!
Gingersplash: Yes, Duskmoon? *respectfully to his deputy*
Duskmoon: Finchpaw still hasn’t returned! Scorchstar is beginning to worry!
Gingersplash: It’s probably nothing; Finchpaw is capable of taking care of himself.
*Echosong bursts into the den* Echosong: Duskmoon, Gingersplash! I—it’s my kits! I can’t find them anywhere!
Duskmoon: *solemnly* Where did you last see them?
Echosong: Um, well, they were wandering around the camp, when…
Gingersplash: Yes…?
Echosong: Oh, Duskmoon! I’m so sorry! I…I sort of lay down in the sun, you see, and I must have dozed off because next thing I know, they were gone!
Duskmoon: Have you looked for them yet?
Echosong: *tearfully* Yes! Yes, I looked all over. Both inside of camp and outside of it, but there was no sign of them!
Gingersplash: Then there is only one logical answer…
*Zooms into Echosong, looking shocked* * Turns back into a face shot of Gingersplash. He nods once, solemnly.*
Gingersplash: It seems that your kits have been stolen.

Echosong: St-Stolen? My poor, innocent little kits!
Duskmoon: Now let’s not…
Gingersplash: Duskmoon! It’s the only answer that makes sense! Echosong said she had looked everywhere…in our territory!
Duskmoon: I suppose you’re right. I’ll just send out a patrol and…
Gingersplash: Wait. First we should look for Finchpaw; he may have some answers as well.
Duskmoon: Very well. Could you do that?
Gingersplash: Of course. Ratface, stay here
Ratface: *nods* Good…luck…Gingersplash *speaks through gritted teeth due to pain of leg wound*
Gingersplash: Let’s just hope I won’t need it…

*Sandyfire is walking through the forest, heading off to FireClan territory. She thinks she sees a shadow flit over a tree trunk in front of her. She whips around, scared of discovery.*
Sandyfire: Who's there?
*No answer but the distant whistle of the wind through the leaves of the trees*
Sandyfire: I know you're out there! Answer me!
*Sees the shadow again, sure of it this time. Narrowing her eyes, she follows it through the forest, slowly at first, then trotting, then finally escalating i
nto an all-out sprint*
