So uhh… Remember when I was trying to make Eridan in Photoshop? As you may know, I lost the file, but I'm trying again with Terezi. I hope to post it here when I finish!

True, but it's not super duper big or anything. It's not like Undertale where you walk up to someone and say “Hey do you know Homestuck is?” It's gotten more popular yes but not like how it'll get when Hiveswap happens.other things did.Homestuck already has recognition. Many of the popular videos have over 1 million views, and Hiveswap was funded with a 2 million dollar kickstarter. Hiveswap was also (according to Wikipedia) “the third highest funded video game in Kickstarter history.” I'm scared for Hiveswap because just like anything that gets a large fanbase, there will be some pretty unsettling things. As much as I would love for Homestuck to get some recognition, there will be a consequence we cannot escape. Let's pray this doesn't go the route like
Hussie must be so proud.
As long as after Hiveswap's release there isn't an influx of cringe (like what happened to Undertale and Pokemon Go) we should be fine. But of it does happen, I can't imagine..

Ugh exactly. I can already see all the….disturbing things with Joey. I pray, pray, PRAY that this doesn't go the wrong way…True, but it's not super duper big or anything. I just hope that Hussie doesn't totally disappoint us. I get that it won't be exactly what we may want out of it, but I still expect it to be good. Just, don't set your expectations too high. Just like a certain other fandom I don't want to talk about right now, additional content may not be exactly what Homestuck needs at this point. Maybe it just needs a little revival somewhere down the line. Now that the comic is over, doesn't mean that we as a fandom should give up and leave the cringiest pieces of the fandom to die on their own time like a few other fandoms have. Just have faith that very few things will go wrong, and that Hiveswap is a worthy successor to the webcomic we know and love.Ugh exactly. I can already see all the….disturbing things with Joey. I hope you guys realize that the Homestuck fandom is already pretty infamous in the internet.
But still, I'm looking forward to the game and it looks nice so far. Hopefully it won't disappoint.

it's not IRL famous, not like doctor who famous, not like so famous that online costume retailers will go to all the trouble and try to sell poorly laid-out terezi cosplays under the name “blind horned alien girl”, not famous enough that you'll see cameos of jake english in famous tv shows just because. but we still have dante basco I hope you guys realize that the Homestuck fandom is already pretty infamous in the internet.
But still, I'm looking forward to the game and it looks nice so far. Hopefully it won't disappoint.

Well, it is the next milestone date and the most likely candidate for the next upd8. Though in this case it will be 2x2PRONG Day instead of 2x3.*Insert overused joke here about a young lady*it's not IRL famous, not like doctor who famous, not like so famous that online costume retailers will go to all the trouble and try to sell poorly laid-out terezi cosplays under the name “blind horned alien girl”, not famous enough that you'll see cameos of jake english in famous tv shows just because. but we still have dante basco I hope you guys realize that the Homestuck fandom is already pretty infamous in the internet.
