there is only a shape/thing so if you move it over something that is a different colour to the background of your image it will show….

e.g

if you take a image with a white background and a image with a red background then layer the red one behind the white backgrounded image, the red image would be blocked out by the white one but with a clear background that wont happen and only the image (not the background) would block out the red image,… make sense?
