All of our age theories are jumbled up. First he's 10, then he looks up to about 14 in XYZ, and then he looks 7. Wow! You can do that? When I'm 100, that would be great!
What is your thoughts? (It's from a Japanese preview. Maybe only like that in Japan? Idk. We'll have to wait and see) Maybe… just maybe… it's not cannon, and is just fake to get die-hard pokemon fans mad! Or… maybe… just maybe… since it's… “Hawaiian” (xD) They're making it look that way just for this season. (wait. team rocket might be… oh dear…)

Edit: Look at trailer 1 on youtube and look closely. Some parts are poorly drawn. Maybe Nintendo is making it look like Yo-Kai Watch to gain their popularity (Anime wise, Yo-Kai Watch is more popular than Pokemon). And Littens face when Ash runs past him…. :I

Look at trailer 2. Finally using game mechanics (e.g. PokeRide) after the other games have strayed away from that. Ash's mom and Mr. Mime are back. Finally a good scene with Litten. More good scenes with pokemon. But then… the Litten scene again! Noooo!!! Ash's facial expressions… ugh…

Look at trailer 3. More odd faces… more odd pokemon scenes… just… wow…

Theres a 4th, but I'm to astonished too watch it.

So what are your thoughts?

He also does not have the hand gloves. But there are rumors that the art was a test for the animation.
And I do not want to see what team rocket looks like too.

Alola? It's a Hawaii themed region, after all. And if your only evidence of Pokemon being “officially ruined” is the anime art style and name of Alola, then… I just don't know what to say.

The pokemon sun and moon games look amazing so I don't think it's “ruined”.

Also Kanto is named after Kantō.

We have already seen team rocket.

When has he been seven?

Really only the anime is ruined but the games are going to be the very best that we will have ever seen.

But we do have Pokemon generations for top notch pokemon anime and anime in general.

Ok, but when I posted this the topic was called “Pokemon Officially Ruined” and I did read your post, my points are valid.

In the past anime we have had Kanto, named after Kantō.
We have already seen team rocket in the poster and trailer.
Where is it stated he is seven? You can't become a Pokemon trainer untill you are ten.

Thank you all for helping me start an argument. I have already been told that Gamefreak, The Pokemon Company, and Nintendo create the Anime (and the game, along with Creatures Inc. but I'm not talking about that.) I don't need to be told again.I would recommend not continuing this silly quarrel even if I'm somehow wrong. If it does continue I'll gladly delete this post. Thank you

I'm personally not a fan of the new style, and will probably just continue sticking with X and Y since it has some of the best art the Pokemon anime has ever seen, in my opinion.

Aside from that, don't you think that this topic might be a little negative for Scratch?

Ya know how all the american cartoons are turning into that weird buggy round eyed stuff that makes everything look horrible style? (That's what I call it.) Maybe they want more american viewers, because I find a couple parts in the trailer resembling that style

Considering that Pokemon Go has been out for a few months and Generation VII is coming in one month, I would say that Pokemon is very “in” right now.
