I can NEVER get any views on my projects.
This forum is old, lol. I've grown as a Scratcher a lot in the relatively short time since this has been posted. It's pretty cringe I know, and I would delete it if I could.

I can NEVER get any views on my projects.
Here are some ideas:
• Be active on the forums, helping people. Also have a forum signature.
• Comment, love, favourite other people's stuff- they may want to check your projects out.
• Make some more, good quality projects (more chance of someone finding a project they want). Also add good-looking thumbnails.
• Put projects in studios, and become curators of studios.
• Follow more people.

I can NEVER get any views on my projects.
I'll spend hours making a project and I'll get 3 views in a week. I know Scratch isn't about getting views but you feel encouraged when a lot of people see and like what you do. This my secondary account. Does that matter? Should I go back to using my old account? What are your tips for getting your projects noticed.
This is what i would do:
Be Active
Comment
Follow
Love
Favorite
Add projects to studios
Comment “nice” things
Be YourSelf
Make Studios
And a lot more

*Add projects to studios and try to be interactive with other scratchers!!

*I started on my other account ( https://scratch.mit.edu/users/charlotteepic/ ) in May and I got popular by adding my projects to lots of different studios. Try to add lots of GOOD projects that you have spent time and concentration over, not a colour changing cat, for instance.

I can NEVER get any views on my projects.
It's okay, people don't start out with 1000s of people following them or 100s of 1000s of views on all their projects. And even if you don't get views, the point of Scratch is to be an intro to coding. That being said, you could follow some people, you could post your projects in the Show and Tell forum, you could request the FPC to curate a project (not recommended, as it sorta looks like you're desperate to get featured, however, this is one of the best methods)

You're not alone. Many Scratchers feel this way, including me!
But remember, Scratch isn't all about attention and fame. But here are some tips on how to get more views on your projects:
1. Advertising in the Appropriate Places: Advertise NOT on people's projects, but provide a link to your project in your forum signature, or provide a link in the “Show and Tell” category.
2. Make an Attracting and High Quality Thumbnail: Design a thumbnail that is pretty and will attract others' attention. Make one that makes others think: “WOW! I'm definitely going to view this project!” I recommend using vector.
3. Make Your Project on an Interesting Topic: Make projects about things that most people like, so when they view your project, they will pay attention to it.
4. Design Your Project with High Quality Graphics: This will make others view your project and immediately love or favorite your project. Graphics are the main aspect that keeps your project cool.
Hope this helped!

I suggest you make friends with other scratchers. That was how I got some views on my projects. Over time, people will start to notice what you are doing.

If you want to get more views on your projects then I would suggest joining a studio like Scratch Underground. I hope you are able to get more views!

Hopefully I helped!Don't do F4F, it doesn't actually help you become more popular and it's frowned upon by most scratchers. What you should do instead is not all about advertising:
- Be active in the community
Post in the forums, comment on projects, help out wherever you can, be a kind scratcher, and people will notice you eventually. - Remember Scratch isn't about fame
It's about learning to program, sharing your creations, and making friends. - Advertise your projects properly
Don't post links on projects, profiles or in the forums, instead post in Show and Tell, put links in your signature, etc, and don't beg for fame. - Make projects more regularly
You've been here three months and you've only shared two projects; be more active and you'll gain followers. - Make your projects stand out
Snazzy thumbnails, a cool logo, a fancy signature, unique projects — all these things help!
A little extra tip is:
Make an awesome project, spend ages on it, put all your work into it, make a great thumbnail, have awesome art, etc… then don't be shy, and show it to the next FPC. Trust me, they don't mind or think you're desperate; I should know! I was FPC recently.
And there you go!

First, let's go over your projects
My Bio :)
thisandagain has “(ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧” in his “What I'm working on.” The point is, you don't need a detailed description of yourself to be popular. Moreover, not a whole lot of scratchers want a detailed description of you. Scratchers want interesting projects, not ones that say “Name: no, it's weird”
hello No It's Weird, I am MATU
Bubble Gum Chick - Quick Speed Drawing
Drawing Pad v. 2.0
It's been done before. A lot. Scratchers have lost interest in drawing projects. Instead, you need projects that are unique.
How Much Water Should You Be Drinking? | CALCULATOR
Nobody really wants to get this from a Scratch project. There are more trustworthy websites to find this information on.
My tips
Have a cool thumbnail. Have a cool thumbnail. Have a cool thumbnail. I say this a lot. The best way to get views on your projects is to make people click on it.
Corollary: Have a concise title. The main idea of your project should fit before the “…” cutoff of the project title on your profile page. If you have a long title, put it in the thumbnail (preferably in a cool font)
Make games. People like games. People really like unique games. And if you have a unique game that also is technically advanced (for example, cloud multiplayer) you're almost guaranteed to get love-its.
Contrary to what most people say, don't advertise in show and tell or spam your project into studios. It's counterproductive and doesn't get you many results (especially show and tell. Nobody ever looks at anybody else's topics there). Once you make a good project people will essentially do the promotion for you.

This is just a realtively simple-ish project I did because I wanted more than 2 published projects^ this is explanation enough for why it's not popular

I didn't mean to offend you, lol. I've actually accumulated lots of information from other forums since posting this, but the whole ‘discuss’ feature in Scratch was one I'd previously not really used, and I didn't really know what I was doing. But thanks for the advice
