Has anybody noticed that naming an eevee to Rainer doen't force the evolution result? I evolved two eevees named “Rainer” and they both evolved into a jolteon.

Did you force quit the game after naming it?

The first eevee was named awhile ago and quitted multiple times, but the second one I named right before evolving.

same here, but i was at least aware of who ash was…

i guess when you dont really talk to anyone in the pokemon community you never learn about ash until you actually watch an episode or movie

or read one of those pokemon comic book things
