This is a really addicting online game where it gives you a Google Maps Street View window, and you have to try and pinpoint where you think it is.

I've never had one from my own state but I've had a few nearby, in Tennessee.

Oh my gosh, I was just about to make this topic! :O
Anyways, it seems like I'm really good at European countries, even though I've never been to Europe.
Australia keeps killing me.
I get about 10,000 points every time.
Dang, I kept thinking the places were in Northern US when they were actually in Canada.

10430…11065…11636…13802…17740!!!! I was within 2km on two of them though (one in Barcelona, the other in Brazil) 
The best trick is probably language; anything besides English is pretty helpful, especially if it's Cyrillic or is otherwise easily identifiable (Lithuanian, Finnish, Portuguese). Flags are also good, though not particularly helpful with the US & Canada.
Oh yeah, and the size and shape of the license plates.
I also have a lot of trouble telling South Africa and Australia apart.
