Hello there! I would like to get some ideas from this shop.
Ideas on: A New Game
Description: You can come up with anything you want as long as it is simple.
Anything else: Nothing else
Please give me some ideas when you have the time. Also if it is possible can you give me an example of what the game could look like. The example has to have pixel art included because the game which I will be making when i have the idea is going to look like it was from the retro times
Sincerely,
kieranblackley

1). Space Explorer
Human civilization is sprawling thing. There are metropolises all across Earth, and there are several moon bases. People are living happy times in this advanced age, and have been content for a long time. However, technology has advanced enough that humans want to and will set out on the mission to colonize a new world: Saturn's Io. There's a lot of press release about this mission, and everyone is tuning in! Except you, of course, because you're the pilot for the rocket colonizing a planet in a new solar system. You're the crucial part to the mission, steering humanity's hope (aka rocket) towards Io. You were rigorously tested for peak mental fitness to take this job, but that doesn't eliminate the many threats between here and there. Asteroids, comets, solar winds, planets, and much more. (Ignoring the mystical “aliens”.) You're stressed out for this mission, but steel forwards. Humanity will make it to Io.
That's the basic idea ^^. You control a rocket, and have to avoid the many dangers of space. If you want, you can make it so there is limited fuel. Generally it would be best if things started off easier, but got harder the further you go into space.

I love the idea, but before I make the game I would love a few more ideas. 2 or more will do. If you want to get some help before you make the new ideas which i want also so i can choose from the 3 ideas or more that will include the idea you just gave me you can get help from a GameBoy game a NES game or a SNES game or probably an Atari or Namco game or else you could go for an old 1980s Arcade game.Note; I'm going camping tomorrow and I won't return until Thursday. Yes, that's what I meant.Do you mean that i want an idea for a game with pixel art includedi was telling him that i wanted more ideas so i told him that i wanted one of the ideas to br a racing gameCan do. Anyways, orders up! Wo!
1). Pillow Fight!
Mockup:

I do recommend that when you make the game, that you add more space between the players, and more vertical space too. In other words, more space. The white “blobs” in the top left and bottom right are piles of pillows. Art wise, if you wanted to get super fancy, you could draw in some furniture and windows around the edge of the screen to make the game area look like an actual room vs a blob of yellow.
I'll skip to the gameplay for this. There are two players in a pillow fight. If you haven't been in a pillow fight before, the goal is to hit the other player with your pillows. You can also dodge pillows by hiding behind your pillow fortress, however each hit it takes makes it shrink.
Control wise, you can move up and down, and throw pillows too.
The game is played Player vs CPU or Player1 vs Player2. Whatever you want!
2). RR Racing Qualifiers
RR is just the trademark.
In racing, before the main race starts, drivers are tested on their speed to determine their position in the starting lineup. A racer gets to go around a track, alone, and see how fast they can complete several laps.* The faster their time, generally the better starting position they will get. This whole process is often called the “qualifiers”.
* In reality, drivers only drive a portion of the track. Normally half of the track.
You've been vying to by in the RR Racing tournament for quite a long time. You've competed in various local venues, put all of your time into practicing, and won a few silver medals too. Although you're not the local star, you like to seem to think of it. On your latest race, one of the major league racers noticed you, and got you into the RR Racing tournament. It's a big moment for you, being at this tournament.
Your heart beats, you're nervous, and your palms sweat. You're called up for your qualifier race. Your car engine rumbles as you start it up. The racing lights flash: red, yellow, yellow, yellow, green!
To the gameplay part of the idea. The easiest way to actually make a racing game is with a top down view. I'll link to a really nice 1980's racing game that did this: Cubeupload Link (Credit to the Super Spring game!)
Since this is the qualifying race, there would be no other racers on the track. (However, you could add AI's if you wanted to!)
For some extra fun, try making your car customizable depending on the time you get. The better your time, the more lucrative the car skin that you get.

We all run out of ideas every now and then, right? I may be a worker here, but I have no idea what the plot should be for my animated series.
# of ideas: 1-5
Ideas on: (ex. A new game, new animation, improving a game, names, ect…): Animated series
Description: (Describe what you want.): Something that is classic but still unique. You know, action, adventure, Drama (I'm gonna go overboard with this probably, XD), ect. But still something that I can animate (Don't worry about my current artwork & stuff. I'm getting a drawing tablet so i'll improve a lot)
Anything else: Try to make it the goal of what the characters are trying to do. All I know is that towns are getting randomly attacked and I can't start off a plot from there.
Thanks!

I have returned From my previous order (asking for an idea for an animated series) To look for an idea for a 100 followers project. I haven't reached 100 followers yet, but I'm getting close so, I need an idea
! It could be a contest, map or anything else you think of.
Description: I want something creative. More creative then something like.. an art contest. I was thinking of doing a map with some kind of awesome theme but I don't know what theme. I was also thinking about doing an animated art contest with some kind of theme. I'd be happy to consider any suggestions even if its just a theme!
If someone could help me I would greatly appreciate it! Thanks!

@Everyone:
I would like to announce that the shop will be closing for now. My schedule is much more chaotic now, and also I do not feel that lately I have been the best person at making sure orders are filled out. I am sorry for that, especially considering that one of the goals of the shop was to provide a quick way to get good ideas.
I am feeling slightly nostalgic right now. Looking back at what has happened, the Idea Shop was a unique experience to say the least. If I am correct, it was the first (successful) idea shop in the forums. The shop prospered, with at least one idea being featured on the front page. I remember all of the members coming and going, each contributing to the success of the shop. Some members I still remember about vividly, and I'm just thankful for everyone that has chipped in.
As a rehash, the shop will be temporarily or permanently closing. If in the future, if I feel that I am able to put forth the energy that this shop requires and needs, I will open it again. For now, I will try and finish current orders, but I cannot give promises.
Updating,
ErnieParke
