I think you've made that point - several times. Constructive feedback and discourse is important to every suggestion, but if you're going to just reiterate past statements it would be best to agree to disagree so that other discussion can continue. The current editor is good enough. We don't need any fancy tools.(I didn't mean to say Nov, I meant to say No.) Scratch is NOT an art program. The tools that there are are good enough.Nov support. Scratch isn't an art program. There's also already a Magic Wand tool in the Bitmap editor.
What if people want to make good graphics for their design art on games? It is not specifically an “art program” but you need art design for things. Also, the “magic wand” is a mess to deal with. It's really hard to try not to cut out any details you want to leave in.
If Scratch isn't an ‘art program’ then why not remove the art tools we have already. So with your reasoning, Why not remove vector? Why not remove the drawing tool so people can program the artwork for themselves? They are there to help design characters. And the airbrush will help design the sprites even more.
Yes.

Back on topic.
Now, I am still waiting a response from my comment on page one. Could you answer that, OP?

I've read it again, sorry. I guess my comment didn't load b/c my internet was down for awhile. And the type of lasso is called a magic wand, but scratch already has one for removing backgrounds, not for the same reason as a lasso or a magic wand toolI Understand you guys, but some people want decent animations on their projects. and some people CANT buy photoshop and scratch would be nothing like it. I'm NOT being sarcastic, @1matsulover and this is just a suggestion, and I realize scratch is an educational programming website, but some people want better art and don't want to open up another program then load the art/animation in.
Do you mind reading his/her comment again? He is supporting the tools, he just isn't supporting the new mode for “artist mode”. See, Scratch wasn't intended to make super great art. After all, sprites at the time were pretty basic and it wasn't until recently that Pocket Monsters made their game have actual animated sprites.
I would like an explanation on how the first two those tools work. I am just a beginning artist and haven't gotten into the digital art phase. Also, I notice there are different types of “lassos” that select doing very different things, so please explain the type you want.
