Rename the "Follow" Button

I find it works as its short enough, and makes sense in my opinion, you “watch” peoples work.

F4F exists still. Some profiles even say “I f4f”, or “I follow back” or something like that. “I WILL FOLLOW EVERYONE” users still exist as well.

If some people want to do follow for follow than whats the problem. It's their choice.

Unfortunately, unless you're going full on f4f, more followers does mean more fame. I mean, why wouldn't it be? In my opinion we shouldn't make Scratchers believe something that isn't true, but instead realize that fame isn't something to complain about. And I don't see many Scratchers complaining about how few followers they have in the first place.

That's not fixing the problem. That's renaming it.

No support. No matter what, F4F and the like will still exist, plus what are they doing to you? Renaming “follow” will do nothing, famous people will just have loads of friends or watchers or whatevers instead of followers, follow-beggars become friend-beggars, and nothing will change. Why even bother?

honestly I think this is a good idea. but only if you look at the scratch home page will you see all updates.

I feel like it should be “Keep Me Updated,” or “Watch” like on dA, tbh. I've had people comment on my profile and projects, “Can you follow me?” and I follow them anyways because I was nervous about their reaction. I've been on dA a few times, I don't see anyone requesting “Watches” or anything. I remember a few people who left because of their follower count, and it was upsetting to me. Support.

Then you run into the same problem as friends (I don't have any buddies!) - not to mention that both imply that it's mutual, while follow or watch give the idea of following somebody without them following you back. (That probably doesn't make much sense. Oh well, I'm too tired to try and explain it better)
