why did FNAF get banned

Because it was scary to young audiences. You may still share them, but not with gruesome themes or jumpscares.

If you share one that is either too scary or like the original, it will get unshared and you will receive alerts. However, if you share one appropiate, it will be fine.

Scratch is a website for people of all ages. Younger kids who don't play FNaF might not be used to jumpscares. Just looking at the pictures of Freddy Fazbear creeps me out, and I'm 13. The Scratch Team doesn't want kids to have nightmares or make parents untrusting of the site. If you are going to do FNaF, make sure to cut out the jumpscares. Or, if you want, you are allowed to make stuff like that as long as it's not shared. (I think)

You said that already. I understand that people worked hard on it, but it's just not appropriate. Sorry.

If you want to make something like that then you can, but you can't share it. FNAF was banned for having jumpscares and having younger kids scared.

Just because someone worked hard on an inappropriate project doesn't mean it's aloud on Scratch. Scratch is for all ages.

FNAF was not banned, the Scratch Team is just unsharing emulations of the game because of the jumpscares and creepy background story.

Any FNAF-related projects without jumpscares is allowed.

FNAF is not banned, just some aspects of it are. FNAF projects are allowed as long as they don't break the community guidelines.

I had a project removed once and it remained in the “Unshared Projects” section of “My Stuff”.

Yes it was.

Not trying to be mean but unfortunately thats basically the state of FNAF on Scratch. It's as good as banned,it's sad but true.

fnaf was not banned, i could go and make a FNAF based project and link it on Paddle2see's profile, as long as it has no

:Intense or scary backstory,
:jumpscares
:graphic content
:some of the phoneguys calls.

So, really i could make FNAF but with minor “jumpscares” (freddy walking into the office, saying “boo” and giving a gameover screen) a more optimistic phone-guy, and a non-violent (all murder and implies of murder) removed.

I believe this should answer any questions on the FNAF policy
