why is everyone getting banned

Let's just say, I understand now, but I don't get why a simple dislike gets you BANNED!

Alright, for starters… PLEASE do not make another account to get around a ban. A ban only lasts two weeks, that isn't that long and if the scratch team discovers the second account you will get in much more trouble. If you think you were unfairly banned, you can use contact us to take that up with the scratch team.
Your friends may have done something against the community guidelines or scratch's terms of agreement without realizing it- for instance, spam is reportable. I promise you, the scratch team really doesn't want to ban anybody and would only do so if absolutely necessary.

Also, the reasons are between the Scratch Team and the user themselves. If the user wants to get unbanned, they have to contact the Scratch Team themselves.

However, keep in mind that this is a discussion forum. We are talking about something, and bringing something up that is simply offtopic like McDonalds isn't necessary.

Like I said, they are going to have to inquire about the ban themselves. Unfortunately, that is something you can do about it unless you actually know them in person.

Users don't get banned unless they did something quite serious, or being reported for multiple things. The ST don't ban for no reason.

“Because reasons” is literally all it boils down too – the Scratch Team must have some reason for banning them but that's not something to be publicly discussed.

The reason is kept as a secret to the banned user and the Scratch Team. So all you can do is to wait it out.
