Doesn't the licences come into play? (The ones that allow us to use music and stuff, but give credit.)

by the same thinking, what if the images in a project are copyrighted? what if the music is copyrighted? what if the idea is copyrighted? There is that issue and I think that fonts would be the least of the problems.

No support. This could allow users to share fonts with licenses that don't permit it.
So we should remove music from projects?
The music is compressed to prevent copyright issues

Not if the license doesn't permit it.

Supporting without putting a reason is unconstructive. Please elaborate.

And also, I support for new fonts, although there's already something in the vector format called “Text to Path”.

I left the forums. Sorry.

(Original got removed by ST.)

Support, as long as it also supports Windows font files.
EDIT I mean bitmap font files, not Windows font files. Bitmap font files have a .fon at the end.

Unclear

Where do you want the text to be? If you want paint editor text, no support. How would this work? How would they program this? How many people would use this? If you really want a new font in the editor, then couldn't you just manually import it? (By that I mean geting the font, splitting each character and making new costumes and a text engine. Scratch is supposed to be a challenge. Also, text on the Scratch pages, no support, just use Inspect (element).

Support! There are not enough fonts in scratch.

I'd say exactly the opposite. Scratch is made for people to learn programming. tho I don't think that new people would need other fonts, it could definitely be useful.

Support. I also think there should be a font creator where you can make your own. :3
You can use tools like FontForge to do just that.

No support for implementing a font creator in Scratch, but I do support importing fonts.

Or at the very least, support for a built-in Monospace font. We're a programming community, why not have monospace to share code snippets?

Support, it saves time to import fonts ^^ But I think only a few more should be added, not too many or else the project editor will load slowly!
