I would like to hear your opinion on this. Which is better? Sonic Colors? Sonic Unleashed? Here's what I think:
Sonic Unleashed is better in my opinion. Why? Here's why:
Sonic Colors has seperate sections where you drift, and quick-step. Sonic Unleashed let's you do drift and quick step any time you want. I do like Sonic Colors' wisps, but they can be a pain sometimes (not saying that I hate the wisps).
So what do you think? I'd love to hear your opinion on this.

I like Unleashed, but the NIGHT STAGES ARE THE WORST.
They're just so slow and on the Wii version combat is terrible.

I agree. It's hard to get an S or even an A rank when you're going as slow as a turtle….well…maybe 2 turtles combined, but still.

Sonic Unleashed had the best Day/Normal Sonic levels I've seen in a 3D Sonic game for a while, but the Night Stages are incredibly slow compared to the fast and lively Day stages and the combat is hard to grasp. Sonic Colors didn't have a certain werehog but didn't have the decency to localise the title for us ‘Colour’ speakers.

I disagree. The night stages were the best. At least you couldn't go falling into the sea every 5 minutes…..

I don't remember falling too often in the day stages.

On Sonic Unleashed the graphics look amazing on Xbox/PS3 versions, but you can pretty much hold the boost button down in the day stages and win.

Sonic Colours doesn't look as pretty, but the new gameplay mechanic (wisps) is completely optional (except in one or two areas). It doesn't force you to use it like Sonic Unleashed's night stages.

I like sonic color's reach for the stars is pretty awsome.And the whisps are cute i think sonic color's is the best

no, colors is the best.

I'm not sure if it's just nostalgia, but i enjoyed Sonic Unleashed far more. It has an incredible sense of speed and the beat em' up stages were enjoyable to a degree, and the blue colour pallete delt quite nice. My biggest problem with unleashed was the boss, there is barley a point to a boss if it requires the player to learn a new play style.

I honestly have to go with sonic colors. I am still finding alternative pathways to go on. It has so much replay value. And… the music… the wonderful music… My god. I just believe colors is better. I can understand if you disagree with me, but I still prefer colors.

I like sonic colors but if sonic unleashed had more day stages it would be my number 1!!!

I say, SONIC UNLEASHED FOR LIFE! They plotline is great, the sonic stages are fun, and the night stages are cool.

Not to sound like a fanboy, but Sonic Unleashed sucked. They should've never made the were-hog. Sonic doesn't need to get any edgier than a test-tube hedgehog using fracking guns or the main protagonist of the game straight-up DYING. And then they throw in werewolf. Why? Because werewolf. I know werewolves are cool, but Sonic's cool in a different way, and they shouldn't cross paths ever. Also, “Endless Possibilities”, the main song of the game, just sounds weird when taken out of context. “I see it! I see it! I see it now!” PPS, Sonic the Were-hog had slow gameplay when NOT underwater. This is a sin, especially in the MODERN Sonic games, where speed is EVERYTHING. Usually, the only time you go slow in a modern Sonic game is when you're fighting a boss or watching a cutscene. Even then, some cutscenes are STILL fast-paced. Sonic the Were-hog is just…ugh. I can't describe the character in words. Sonic Colors has humor. Like ice cream could harm you more than giving you brain freeze! ! When I first heard that, I 'd my Heine to space! The only downside I can think of for S.C. is that its rocket can give you motion sickness.
